New reports indicate the Cuomo administration tried to subvert information about a cancer-causing chemical in the water supply of the town of Hoosick Falls and nobody seems all that concerned.
Documents obtained by Politico show the New York State Department of Health dismissing warnings from the EPA, and refusing to alert residents of the very dangerous situation.
Over a year ago, health department officials issued a fact sheet indicating that health effects are not expected to occur from normal use of the water within days of a contradictory declaration by the EPA which advised residents not to drink or cook with the water.
According to a senior EPA officials handwritten notes from a phone conference with state officials, Health Department employees argued that their differences with the federal authorities were a matter of philosophy and not just science.
New Yorks own Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, recently launched an investigation into ExxonMobil for similar reasons involving climate change and ignoring what he deems settled science. Will he investigate the Cuomo administration?
Worse, Hoosick Falls residents are now starting to receive blood test results which confirm fears that the contaminated water has poisoned them with cancer-causing chemicals...

Does the town have a lot of conservatives in it?
Upstate? Probably Crackers, no foul./sarc
Trump should demand Hillary denounce Cuomo for doing nothing about the poisoning of New Yorkers.
The name of the town should have been a clue.
But this kind of c-— only happens where there is a Republican governor.
Boy Cuomo is running so far away from this crisis you can feel the wind.
This is going to be an anchor for any future political aspiration in 8 years when he runs for President so pay attention to this now GOP.
This article is probably the last you’ll hear of it.
Cuomo lost Rensselaer County by 19 percentage points.
Will he investigate the Cuomo administration?
Is it even a crime for a Demonrat to poison the Citizens??

Marc Edwards: Flint Water and Public-Inspired Science
Aired: 04/29/2016 01:25:38 Rating: TV-PG
Dr. Marc Edwards leads the Virginia Tech research team credited with revealing deadly lead contamination in the public water supply in Flint, Mich. Edwards presents his talk, “How Jonathan Turner Saved Flint, Mich.: Public-Inspired Science and the Modern Land-Grant University.” Sponsored by the Office of the Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies at Michigan State University.
Now, now, now, that happens to be the town the Dutch side of my family settled in pre-revolutionary war days (1688). Many family members migrated to where I currently reside in WNY where the land was fertile and available for settlers. Don’t at this time know why they called the town Hoosick Falls, but having visited the town it is located on the Hoosick River and is very scenic. Many Falls locations were chosen to settle because of the advantages the river could offer.
This is only the start of the crisis of Albany vs. Upstate.
Albany has been ignoring upstate NY for years: business climate, infrastructure replacment, roads, bridges, and highways, electrical power, etc.
Cuomo's political and financial interest is singularly drawn to Downstate, New York City, and Long Island to the detriment of the rest of the State.
Upstate, bridges are rusting hulks, the thruway has become a patchwork of temporary repairs, lead is found in the drinking water in many schools, while taxes keep increasing
but Cuomo has been singularly interested in building a TappenZee bridge replacement for which there is no money listed in the State budget.
Misplaced priorities result in displaced politicos !
Yep, Cuomo could care less about upstate, he’s a NYC socialist. He vetoed Fracking north of the PA border as it would have brought millions to a poor area and provided thousands of jobs.
The big focus of investment money for Cuomo, for some reason, is Buffalo. Vast amounts of resources (time and money) has been invested, especially in the waterfront and in an old steel mill location (Solar City). Investors have been pouring money into this area on housing, etc. Even Central Terminal, the old railroad depot (huge structure) has the interest of a Toronto investor. Hospitals are in the process of relocating to a Medical Corridor which is vast and will include the involvement of the State of New York, Buffalo Medical School. There is also speculation that the Buffalo Bills will have a new stadium in downtown Buffalo and there will certainly be state money involved in that facility. It’s pretty amazing to see, but I’m not sure why this is happening because for years, Buffalo was the rust belt that nobody cared about.
Cuomo might have been the one to sic the State Attorney General onto the Mayor, the Mayor found out about this and this is called revenge...
Does the town have a lot of conservatives in it?
Cuomo lost Rensselaer County by 19 percentage points.
So, Cuomo is saying let them move or die!
Buffalo, while part of the Upstate rust belt, has always been a Democratic party stronghold due to the working class population.
U.S. Attorney General Baharra is looking into the matter, and subpoenas have been issued , statewide.
Cuomo's response : "Everybody , shut up"
NY Post columnist Fred Dicker is the best source of information on what is going on inside Albany.

The Upstate economy, people, and infrastructure has been too long ignored by Albany.
The most recent "State of the State" given by Cuomo was, for the first time ever , given in NYC , rather than where it has historically been held in Albany.
Upstate is only recently become aware of how much they have been ignored and held back by the attention given to NYC.
The "Three Men in a Room" decisions has resulted in two convictions; we are still awaiting the third one !!
