The name of the town should have been a clue.
But this kind of c-— only happens where there is a Republican governor.
Now, now, now, that happens to be the town the Dutch side of my family settled in pre-revolutionary war days (1688). Many family members migrated to where I currently reside in WNY where the land was fertile and available for settlers. Don’t at this time know why they called the town Hoosick Falls, but having visited the town it is located on the Hoosick River and is very scenic. Many Falls locations were chosen to settle because of the advantages the river could offer.
