HISTORY! Trump Shatters Republican Primary Vote Record by 1.4 Million Votes
The Gateway Pundit ^ | June 7, 2016 | Jim Holt

On Tuesday Donald Trump closed the door on the Republican nomination for President by winning all five of the remaining primaries — New Jersey, South Dakota, Montana, New Mexico and California. Trump won the last 16 Republican contests.

Trump has 1,536 delegates and counting. Trump may also be the first candidate in the modern era to have funded his campaign by himself during the primary season.

Although his results are much more impressive, he only spent a quarter the amount of money as Democrats Clinton and Sanders. He proved to be the real capitalist in the primary while Clinton and Sanders proved to be the socialists freely spending other people’s money.

Trump’s accomplishments will now go down in history. On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton pulled out the win with more delegates than socialist Sanders. However, nearly a quarter of her delegates came from controversial ‘super delegates’. Her road to the Democratic nomination was far less impressive and may also go down in history because she may be under indictment before the November election.

If Ted Cruz cared for the country at all, which no doubt he only cares for himself, he would pledge his delegates to Trump.

Trump stands at 1,536 delegates this morning. Almost all of these delegates are BOUND - which means that they must vote for Trump on the first ballot. Even if they don't show up at the convention, they will still be counted as votes for Trump on the first ballot.

Therefore there is no wiggle room for GOPe parlor tricks. There will NOT be that much-ballyhooed second ballot that Ted Cruz and establishment GOP were trying so hard to force upon us.

Donald Trump WILL be the presidential nominee of the Republican Party for 2016.

Also, the window is just about closed for a viable third party candidate to enter the fray. Sorry Billy Kristol, Mitt Romney, Lindsey Graham and all you other establishment hacks. Nobody stepped up to the plate to run third party after all.

To all those who have their noses out of joint over Trump being the nominee, it's time to get over it. It's either President Trump and American First or it's time to check out real estate in Canada or Australia. Ball is in your court.

3 million votes for the dems and 1.5 million for the reps here in commiefornia. Not looking to good for a Trump win here in commie land.

And that is why I don’t get excited about any Republican nominee. The votes are built in for a Democrat.

Trump was making noise about watering down the pro-life plank. Cruz is allowed to use delegates as leverage on that front.

It’s not often the DNC gets to know in advance exactly how many dead voters and illegal aliens they’ll need to cast ballots.

Yes but Trump said macaca so his campaign is over.

Now I have to vote for him 7 times instead of six.

Popular vote: 2012 general election

Barack Obama 65,915,796

Mitt Romney 60,933,500

1.4 million more GOP primary voters is impressive...

Popular vote is meaningless...

Just ask Al Gore...

I hope Trump is looking at the electoral map...

The anti-voter fraud organizations are going to be very, very busy this year.

These org are normally a day late and a dollar short...

The "people" need to sign up to become poll watchers at their precincts and learn the rules to challenge any shenanigans going on...

I'm seriously thinking about it..
