On Tuesday Donald Trump closed the door on the Republican nomination for President by winning all five of the remaining primaries New Jersey, South Dakota, Montana, New Mexico and California. Trump won the last 16 Republican contests.
Trump has 1,536 delegates and counting. Trump may also be the first candidate in the modern era to have funded his campaign by himself during the primary season.
Although his results are much more impressive, he only spent a quarter the amount of money as Democrats Clinton and Sanders. He proved to be the real capitalist in the primary while Clinton and Sanders proved to be the socialists freely spending other peoples money.
Trumps accomplishments will now go down in history. On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton pulled out the win with more delegates than socialist Sanders. However, nearly a quarter of her delegates came from controversial super delegates. Her road to the Democratic nomination was far less impressive and may also go down in history because she may be under indictment before the November election.

This is it! Trump’s poll numbers will tank now, I tell ya!
Yeah, he hit a ceiling!!!!
It’s all over for him now!
Trump 13 million votes, a record - 1536 delegates 62% of all delegate to the GOP Convention in Cleveland. Spent around $60 million to secure nomination, all of it entirely self-funded.
And this was a guy whom no one thought would the win the nomination in the summer of 2015. That famous ride down the escalator to the Trump Tower press conference upended the GOP. Its a historical milestone.
Historic night - first non-politician to win nomination for a major party!
Historic night - first time a nomination winner is being investigated by the FBI and could be indicted!
Hillary! had 30% fewer voters in CA than she did in 2008.
Gotta look at the lyin’ king’s number for ‘08. 17 million? Srsly? I don’t think the hildabama will get that many so look at the numbers from all the primaries (r vs. d) and that may be an indication of where this is going to end up in Nov. Hopefull it’s a crushing defeat that will drive screech over the edge. I wouldn’t want to be within throwing distance of her that night. Well, any night.
.... It is fun to get all excited about the popular vote but unfortunately it will all get down to the Electoral College Vote.
..... Sadly using today's numbers, Hillary pretty much has the lead on this. It takes 270 votes to win the EC majority..... Hillary, for all intents and purposes is already there at 330ish and climbing. It will be a hard uphill battle for the GOP or at least what is left of it. FYI ... Trump is sitting around 198ish EC Votes. Consequently for Trump to win, he will necessarily need to win ALL 5 swing states to clinch the Presidency.
“Hillary, for all intents and purposes is already there at 330ish and climbing”
She doesn’t have any.
Stop rewarding these people with EC votes like some GOPe surrender monkey right off the bat.
My BIGGEST concern is possible massive voter fraud. Look for the vote fraud prevention groups to be very busy this year.
And McConnell says Trump is “very unpopular”
AMEN, second it.
He does not know what is talking about.
He’s working for the Uniparty.
I hope he smokes by at least 6 million votes the DNC idiot!
I don’t get it, I heard how unlinked Trump is but if that’s true how can he get more votes ever.
We all need to get behind him and push for his election. Hitlary would be THE WORST!
