Presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump says if he's elected president, he'd have the top law enforcement official in his administration look into indicting Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton over her email use.
So does that mean New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie could be the one to make the decision?
During an interview that aired Sunday on CBS's "Face the Nation," host John Dickerson noted that Trump has repeatedly said on the campaign trail that Clinton should face jail time over her emails.
And if she isn't indicted before then, Dickerson asked, would Trump have his U.S. attorney general prosecute her?

Trump can do anything he wants — he’s the president.
I mean, there’s now precedent for that sort of approach to just about anything.
I watched that whole interview and I didn’t hear Christie’s name mentioned once...where is this coming from?
Trump is still in primary mode, and until he is nominated as the Republican head of the Republican ticket, he can not mention anyone who he would like to have in his cabinet or anywhere else...

It would be the nature of both men (Trump and Christie) to dangle Hillary on a long twisting string of ambiguity. Make her wait and worry. Let her start slipping up in the press, showing flashes of temper. All the while, Trump would make thinly veiled references to the ‘horrible’ crimes she has committed.

Some of us posted Trump’s probable question to Christie, before Christie openingly supported Trump and took out Rubio.
That question, probably was, “If you were my AG, would you drop the dime on Clintoon re her email treason?”
That’s a topic of quite some discussion of late.
Good question!
First of all, while there has been some talk about Christie being Trump’s AG, there seems to be more talk about Trey Gowdy becoming AG.
Second, if a thorough investigation by a Trump Administration AG reveals that Obama was not at all Constitutionally eligible to sit in the Oval Office, that will make each and every official act null and void, which means that any pardons issued wouldn’t be worth the paper they were printed on, as I see it.
Third, if extensive investigations reveal the truth of the ‘RAT party’s treason, and their Vichy-Republican enablers, I would expect that political party to be declared a subversive organization and shut down as a national security threat, and ditto for any GOP co-conspirators.
If “none dare call it treason”, I fully expect that Trump will.
First waterboard her so we can find out what secrets/interests she sold for donations to the Clinton Foundation! Then prosecute her!

Yep. If he doesn’t, she’ll take him down with her. How does a president not know one of his key cabinet members has a private server? As trump would say, give me a break.

She has to be indicted first, which ends her political career. As much as I want to see her do the perp walk, I will accept that as second prize.
