CRUZ said it is his "hope" that the Republicans nominate a conservative, SIGNALING THAT THE NOMINEE HAS NOT BEEN DECIDED. "What I hope is that we have a Republican nominee that will actually defend conservative principles," Cruz said.
Cruz ... is still working to elect delegates, "even though Donald has the delegates to get the nomination." "One of the reasons that we are continuing to work to elect conservatives to be delegates, ... we intend to do everything we can to fight for conservative principles to prevent Washington forces from watering down the platform."....

Zzzzzz
Say it, Oldeconomybuyer: #nevertrump.
You know you wanna. Lol!
Oldeconomybuyer breathlessly proclaims: do not make America great again.
I’m 100% pro-Trump.
I just want all freedom loving conservatives to push him to the right before, during, and after he’s elected president. Too many republicans campaign as conservatives, and serve as liberals.
>>> Oldeconomybuyer breathlessly proclaims: do not make America great again. <<<
Zzzzzzz
You might believe that but you can't prove that. where is his documentation, oh right he has it sealed from public view, just like another foreigner we all know and love.
I doubt you know what his positions are.
Cruz is a liar.
“Oh, I see...the long con. He decided to start debating Austrian economics and the Constitution back in high school because it was all part of a ploy....right.....”
That’s what school children do to demonstrate how smart they are. It’s not necessarily an indication of where their sympathies lie.
It is time for Cruz to accept that the primary contest is over and he lost.
He needs to value what is best for America above what he thinks is is best for Ted Cruz.
As the campaign season opened Cruz had a reputation as a principled conservative and many admired and respected him for that - even many who didn’t support him for the nomination.
But with his unprincipled tactics, his bad-loser disposition, and his determination to be a spoiler he has become reviled rather than admired.
He is destroying himself.
No he isn’t and since you are still rooting for INSANE/DELUSIONAL/CINO/LIAR/DIRTY TRICKSTER Teddykins, this site is NOT for you.
The ONLY proof needed is his mother was a citizen when he was born. Sheese, I thought freepers were up on this. This subject was settled months and months ago.
Since he like to partner with others, he could work with Rubio lobbying for a job working in the Senate men’s room swabbing floors and changing urinal cakes.
Ethanol expansion is hardly a major issue for him as shown by his recent energy statement, tariffs are part of negotiation and threat more than real, minimum wage, hardly a mention, and spending (other than the military) is clearly something he wants to curtail in real terms.
I also think the three biggies are: 1. Stopping the invasion from the south. 2. Halting muzzie immigration and so called refugees. 3. Resetting the economy with Reaganite principles so we can be strong.
I will add a fourth: Beating the crap out of ISIS and Islamic domination.
I love the main ones, and really, really like all the others.
Like I said, far better than Cruz (I used to be a Cruz supporter).
The “true conservatives” have spoken and nominated Trump.
His mother is on the voting rolls in Canada. She had to have become a Canadian Citizen for that to have happened. Not a dual citizen by the way, Canadian. There was no Consular Report of Birth Abroad filed when he was born, at least not one that has been released if it did indeed happen.
You believe his mother was a citizen when he was born because he said so, not because you have seen proof.
Cruz is a sleazy politician.
True conservative? Trump is far more conservative than Cruz and far more honorable as well.
Cruz sucks.
His supporters suck, too, if they keep buying into his bull crap.
