Possible Conflict at Heart of Clinton Foundation
NY Times ^ | May 22, 2016 | ALBERT R. HUNT

The Clinton Foundation, which has done a number of good works over the past 15 years, would appear to present an inherent conflict of interest should Mrs. Clinton become president, and possibly does even now with her as a candidate.

Mrs. Clinton has suggested that if she is elected, the foundation — which collects contributions from wealthy interests, including foreign governments — would continue basically as is.

“If Bill seeks to raise large sums of money from donors who also have an interest in U.S. policy, the public will rightly question whether the grants affected United States foreign policy,” said Stephen Gillers, a legal ethics expert at New York University School of Law. Ethics rules, he notes, are “not merely to prevent bad behavior but to foster public trust in the integrity of government choices.” He’s open, however, to the idea of their daughter, Chelsea Clinton, running the foundation.

“Have to wonder if NYT gets any slush...”

With their rich Mexican owner, they probably don’t need slush, they want juice by being connected to Obama and Clintoon if she become president!

Prof. Gillers is a longtime liberal so take that into consideration re his comments about Chelsea, who might also be indicted for criminal actions re Foundation money.

The more Red Chinese money exposed as having been donated to the Clinton Foundation, Al Gore (remember the 90’s?), and even Obama, the more the chances of criminal indictments increase.

Remember, follow the money trail (and learn Chinese while you are at it).

Yes and how would that be any different the when she was Secretary of State? The NYTs does not want to ask or answer that question.
