The Eagles of Death Metal's singer claimed in an interview last week he saw Muslims celebrating in the street during the attack.
Two French music festivals have cancelled Eagles of Death Metal concerts this summer over remarks by the band's frontman about the Paris attacks.
The Rock en Seine concert in the French capital and the Cabaret Vert festival in northern France said on Friday they are "in total disagreement with Jesse Hughes' recent allegations".
Hughes claimed in an interview last week that he saw "Muslims celebrating in the street during the attack".
He also said he spotted some "terrorists" in the Bataclan concert hall before the band's fateful 13 November show.
The Eagles' performance that night was stormed by suicide bombers during co-ordinated attacks in the city.
Some 90 people died at the concert hall and 40 others across the metropolis during the bloodbath.
Hughes called for greater scrutiny of Muslims in the West during his remarks last week to Taki's Magazine.
"I saw Muslims celebrating in the street during the attack," the singer told the online US publication, which has previously stoked controversy for its articles on race.
"I saw it with my own eyes. In real time! How did they know what was going on? There must have been co-ordination."

Maybe Frenchie can get Mohammed and the ISIS Beheaders to stand in for them. What a bunch of morons.
Kaffirs, pay the jizyah and STFU.
Some folks just can’t handle the truth
My best friend, Neil Zaza, is touring Europe right now. I must admit that I worry. He’s using his Italian band. Will be gone for 4 more weeks.

This is about Trump.
France, Germany and the U.K. are gone. Unless Trump wins, the U.S. Will join them next year.
I live part time in Sweden and was in Gothenburg on 9/11/2001.
I saw hundreds, maybe a thousand, Muslims high fiving and patting each other on the back that day.
They all came down to the city center to celebrate.
I won’t forget.
Hitler and Stalin won WWII and the Cold War, respectively, because nobody on “our” side took the battle where it was being waged—in the universities and the government schools. Reagan faced down the Soviets’ nukes, but there was another weapon that paralyzed Reagan and all other “conservatives,” and that was one word: “McCarthyism.”
Our government schools have been churning out Marxists right under bougeois Americans’ noses.
The “McCarthyism” movement is not as though there was no fire behind the smoke it reported, but that it didn’t point to any non superficial reason to refuse the fire.
As soon as we talk about something being un-American rather than being wicked or undermining righteousness, we have already conceded the matter to the arena of the ideas of men.
I kind of see a similar thing going on with the bathroom brouhahas. Boycott Target... and to hell with their employees who may have done nothing wrong... but larger sexual integrity? Oh no, we might be outed as hypocrites, we can’t touch on that!
If you see something, say something.....as long as it’s not about Muslims.
Lambs to the slaughter
I support Trump because an election is a binary choice. I am disgusted by the number of Catholics who write that if you vote for Trump, you are endorsing divorce, you are endorsing fornication etc, etc.
Such nonsense. If you vote for Trump you are voting to keep Hillary out of the White House. That’s all.
My big doubt about Trump is whether he has the philosophical and spiritual depth to understand what our battle is really against. Marxism. Satanism. Hatred of Jews. Hatred of Christians. Hatred of freedom.
I suspect, and hope, that Trump confines his comments to things like “stupidity” because he knows the public cannot go deeper.
If Trump is elected, then all that has really happened is that those who love freedom, and Christianity, and the United States, will have been given more time. The Marxist must be exposed and driven out of the institutions which they have infested over the past century. This is not something that is within the power of the chief executive or the government as a whole. It is something the people will do, or it will not be done.
I hope that Trump and the people around him realize that virtually all respectable institutions are their enemies. The Pope, virtually all Catholic Bishops and mainline Protestant clergy, and virtually all academics and journalists, and products of government schooling, are Marxist, anti-Christian, and anti-American.
Again: All the election of Trump means is a reprieve.
