No, but there’s always the first time - and we all know about the French and their unwarranted cultural superiority syndrome, especially with regards to engineering.
On the other hand, there’s always the chance the tail fell off, which *is* something that’s happened to Airbus planes in the past.
I read another article that referenced control issues on the Airbus planes. I’m not familiar with such stuff.
Hmmmm, wasn’t there something that happened in the air a year or so ago in Egypt airspace that caused an airliner to disappear from radar, and crash ?
If you hear hoof-beats, don’t assume it is zebras.
The “tight ship” sank some time ago.
Air Transat 961 and possibly American Airlines 587, among other (fortunately less serious) incidents. More reading here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_Transat_Flight_961

Sent the plane into a spin and ripped it apart in 12 seconds.

Yeah, this has to have happened because Trump is a racist and so are all the people voting for him...even if this happened because of weather.
Yup, but that flight was over land in an area that is known to contain AA batteries of types that *can* bring down such aircraft. It seemed to have been a bomb anyway, though - or such seems to be the multiply official conclusion.
This flight was 170 miles out to sea over the Med, at 37,000 feet. It was nowhere near land and nowhere near where any ground AA could have done anything to or about it. If it wasn’t a bomb/terrorism or mechanical failure, it would have required a major surface combatant (I.e., warship) to track, lock on and launch a missile the size of a telephone pole to bring the airliner down. Last I checked, the terrorists don’t yet have any of those.

Exactly 4 hours? Merde.
It can be a very good way to spread news quickly & widely.
Some on Twitter saying there may have been a VIP or a dignitary on board.

Anybody see Bernie Sanders yet today?
My guess is another altimeter bomb. This one set for re-entry into a pressure zone.
Or in other words ISIS improving upon their design.
There were 3 Air Marshalls on board. That seems like a lot.
CNN
Egypt: More likely terror than technical issue brought down plane.
Greece: Plane made several swerves before crash.
CNN analyst (female): More likely terrorism or something from in the plane than she thought last evening.
No claim of responsibility by any terror organization — yet.

Airspace and destination not the same
None of your examples are the same type as this recent crash.
Different designs or manufacturers, no shared components. The only similarity is they were jet aircraft.
Pattern failure analysis is only legitimate for the same type and manufacture of equipment.
