Republican presidential contender Donald Trump has asked one of America's most ardent drilling advocates and climate change skeptics to help him draft his energy policy.
U.S. Republican Congressman Kevin Cramer of North Dakota - a major oil drilling state - is writing a white paper on energy policy for the New York billionaire, Cramer and sources familiar with the matter told Reuters.
Cramer was also among a group of Trump advisers who recently met with lawmakers from western energy states, who hope Trump will open more federal land for drilling, a lawmaker who took part in the meeting said.
Cramer said in an interview his paper would emphasize the dangers of foreign ownership of U.S. energy assets, burdensome taxes, and over-regulation. Trump will have an opportunity to float some of the ideas at an energy summit in Bismarck, North Dakota on May 26, Cramer said.

Sec. of Energy??
NICE!!!
Take that, 0blama/Dems/RINOs.
That’s an interesting chart. It looks like the Earth’s temperatures meander down from the baseline and then suddenly, and with some regularity, sharply spike up, relatively quickly drop to the baseline, and then begin the cycle again. Am I correct? What’s causing this cycle?
lol
love it!
Yes. I’ve not been for Trump so far, but I really like this.
BTTT!
Yup. But apparently Trump is fearless.
Wooohoo!
Trump’s multi-prong assault on the PC world should be
1. Educate the public about Climate Change fraud
2. Inform public that Social Justice Warriors are actually the greedy ones.
3. School the masses on the fact that “Diversity” is a code-word for “non-white” and those proponents are the true racists of our time.
4. , 5. 6. etc. Anyone feel free to add line items!
I don't know anyone who is a "climate change skeptic." The climate changes constantly. It always has and always will.
The issue is not whether the climate is changing but whether people are causing it to change. I know many people, myself included, who are anthropogenic (human caused) global warming skeptics.
".....that sound of coconuts hitting concrete are heads hitting floors after the eyes rolled back and they got the vapors"
Sounds great!!!
Dude!
Have you been calling in the favors!
This is pretty cool, dontcha think?
Good move!
For a New Yorker, Trump is showing plenty of conservative values.
The only one faring well is XOM, and it appears to have sort of topped out, having recovered better than ALL the others, even the biggies like CVX & COP. COP chopped its excellent divvy and that was IMO one great reason to own it. No more.
The most remarkable recovery has been UNT. I trade that one a lot, but my common sits under 20-struck puts. It can put on massive moves, like a dollar for a $12-$13 stock very easily so be careful. Bot some today 12.38.
I don’t know what to say about “shoppers” in this space. We are IMO in a nifty fifty type of market, there is and will be utterly no mercy for the weak.
Retail has been utterly clocked this week, just brutal. There HAS TO BE a time and place where this is going to reflect as decr demand on oil products. Has to.
Honestly & respectfully, I think this is not a good space to go hunting in. I used to trade it a lot.
This is not happy market action here, now we see the PGs and PMs of the world taking on water, they again have to reflect the perception that the consumer is stressed. They were among the last soldiers standing. Bonds ramping like crazy. = fear. Yet VIX/VXX are nothing to write home about. Be careful.
Go Trump Go!
Oh I know though, he’s not a real conservative.
Now a days I’ll be satisfied with someone who is a real AmeriCAN!
I think most of us would agree that climate changes, but only the brain-addled liberal loons believe that the acts of human beings have any impact on it.
Thanks. Good adv.
I need to go long on Viz-queen and Duct Tape Manufacturers for those that tape their heads and to protect myself...
