Our overriding mission on Free Republic is to preserve, protect and defend (conserve) God, family, country–and all that that entails (refer to the Declaration, Constitution, and our Judeo-Christian American heritage for details).
Our most immediate task we must undertake at this time is keep corrupt, godless, treasonous, America-hating communists like Hillary Clinton out of power.
Our very survival as a free nation depends upon it.
That means FR is going all in to defeat Hillary/Bernie, et al, by supporting our America-first nominee Donald Trump to the hilt.

The main problem with #NeverTrumperism is that its based on an irrational dislike of the man.
Even Reagan did things I didn’t agree with. And to tell millions of voters they’re stupid in picking their nominee is downright condescending.
Moreover, realistically, finding and running a third party candidate is an impossible challenge, logistically, financially and from a political standpoint, such a candidate can’t win - only play a spoiler role.
#NeverTrumpers are welcome to vote for Hillary Clinton if they really can’t stand Donald Trump. They’re not welcome on FR.
Now is the time to unite behind our candidate and our party.
As for me, I like Trump. He's not the "perfect Conservative". However, he fights....and fighting the flagburning anti-Americans is good enough for me.

Well this has been a great website, but now that we are being commanded to get behind the Far Left, Pro Partial Birth Abortion, Anti Private Property Rights, Pro Socialized Medicine Con Artist with an “R” after his name I guess there is no longer room for actual CONSERVATIVES here.

Well, I was a Cruz man, but aren’t we the people who supported McCain and Romney? Trump’s not so bad... I kinda like the guy! Heck, it might be nice not to have a career politician running things.
