House GOP Warns Ryan To Back Trump
CNN ^ | May 11, 2016

Posted on 05/11/2016 10:49:30 AM PDT by Helicondelta

Rank-and-file House Republicans are urging Speaker Paul Ryan to get behind presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, warning his resistance could lead to the party fracturing rather than uniting if he withholds his endorsement.

"It makes it harder to unite," said Rep. Raul Labrador, an Idaho Republican and leader within the conservative House Freedom Caucus.

House Republicans met with Ryan Wednesday morning for the first time since the speaker told CNN's Jake Tapper he was not yet ready to endorse the presumptive nominee.

Your words are quite charitable towards the *true* character of Mr. Lincoln.

I liken the *true* character of Mr. Lincoln more to the persona of a character concocted in the imagination of a close relative - the character; Bob Ewell.

Slavery was simply low lying fruit, a card in the deck at Mr. Lincoln’s disposal. Mr. Lincoln was possessed by a malignant spirit of which we’ve not seen on national politics until recently.

Bob Ewell and Mr. Lincoln could have swapped roles in life and fiction, respectively.

A really great read is that of freed slaves in the South. Many of them were NOT thrilled with Lincoln.

I hate to break it to you, lurker, but your cousin based "Bob Euell" on your dad.

He is a patrician wannabe, carrying water for the Bush-Romney-Graham patricians and their money-men who want to keep the peasants where they belong. He may stick with them because they are so offended at their rejection and they are paying his way. He gives up a lifetime’s worth of big money-for-nothing if he pisses off Bush and Romney.

I’m beginning to believe Ryan doesn’t want to be re-elected. He’s tasted the high society life of DC and he wants to stay there making much more money.

Ryan’d best get off the tracks because he’s about to get run over by a train. Now he can jump on and get a free ride, or he can go home with his tail between his legs, but he can’t just stand there looking goofy. Cowboy up, dude. Beards are for grownups.

You must have been public schooled. Your shitless, worthless parents sent
you to a to a public school to be immersed in “government is our GOD”.
Tell me, were you and your “classmates” made to pleasure yourselves before the the icon of Mr. Lincoln in your government center for indoctrination?

Public schools = stupid people.
Public school kids = sorry as hell parents..

You are the progeny of godlessness that is of public schools.

I’ve known the likes of white trash like Lincoln. That’s why Mr. Lincoln so viscerally hated blacks.

His pride would never allow him to do that. Personally I’d rather see him booted than see him retired.
