Colonel West spoke to freepers after the first Washington Tea Party event. I have met him twice and was privileged to meet a genuine hero. He is also brilliant and knows all the flaws having served a term in Congress.
He served many years in the Army, and retired as a LTC before running for office.
If he knows where the bodies are buried, he belongs at the head of the Defense Department.
Has West issued an official endorsement of Trump since he became presumptive nominee?

Rumsfeld’d DOD tried to railroad a number of troops for defending each other and fighting the enemy. Their rules of engagement, admittedly, are worse under Obama, but we should not for a moment believe Rumsfeld’s DOD had clean hands.

He would be a better fit as CJCoS... He’s been laying low these past few years to avoid being “purged”, and frankly he’s the only one who can unscrew the pooch in terms of these BS social programs shoved down the militarys throats.

You realize that Mike Flynn is a national security advisor to Trump and served as director of Defense Intelligence Agency before retiring.
Yes, that was made known on CNN tonight. He seems like a good fit for a military oriented Veep candidate for Trump.
At least he sees eye-to-eye with Mr. Trump and, as you highlighted, he is already a national security advisor to Mr. Trump. His established connections piqued my interest and made me post my earlier comment.
Roger Stone - if I’m not mistaken, Stone sat on the board of GOProud, along with Ann Coulter and Breitbart.
All the brass with backbone has been drummed out of the military.
And if the GOPe manages to take the nomination from Trump, then Trump and West can run on their own Armageddon Ticket.

I knew he had a distinguished army record. I remember seeing him on Fox News RedEye when he was running for his first term. I just think a guy who only served one term and was then defeated doesn’t seem to be a winner. Maybe he should have relocated.
Duncan Hunter would be good. Too bad Jim Webb is a Dem. I’d like to see Jeff Sessions chosen for VP myself.
But Scott Brown also has long military experience.
