Former Speaker Of The House Just SMOKED The ‘Establishment’ For NOT Endorsing Trump VIDEO

Newt Gingrich has weighed in on the #NeverTrump movement and he has some harsh words for the Republicans that are turning their backs on the party.

He specifically addresses The Bushes, and Mitt Romney saying, “Let’s be clear. The Bushes, the Romneys, the Republican party has been pretty darn good to them. And they owe a little bit to that party. And the people who make up that party.”

Gingrich told FOX News host Uma Pemmaraju that House Speaker Paul Ryan’s announcement that he is “not ready” to support Donald Trump “probably represents a fairly large block of people who are very anxiety-ridden.”

“There were a lot of people who thought they would negotiate with Trump over the next two months as he tried to pull together enough delegates. And suddenly there on Wednesday, they were faced with the reality that he is the nominee,” explained Gingrich.

“And I think a number of them panicked.”

Now, Trump “has an obligation as the party nominee to find a way, a path to get to bringing the party back together,” the former House Speaker added.

While Gingrich said Ryan’s refusal to endorse Trump wasn’t something he would have done, he “was much more offended by Presidents Bush and Gov. Romney.”

The former presidents have publicly said they won’t be endorsing Trump or commenting on the presidential campaign.

Romney says he will not be attending this summer’s Republican National Convention, where Trump is expected to be officially nominated.

“When those three were the nominees, they expected all of us to support them,” said Gingrich.

“They would have been deeply offended if we had said something like Paul Ryan said yesterday. And I think it’s a bit much for people who got to be President or got to be the nominee – because of the Republican Party – to now turn around and decide that they are smarter than millions and millions of Republican voters, and that they’re not going to be part of the team.”

Maybe Newt will make Trump’s list of potential VP’s.

He is incredibly smart and knows how to take care of business.

Baggage followed by a baggage train.

Newt’s great. Not a VP person at all. Newt would make a fine Secretary of State.

It’s good that our enemies are announcing themselves early, publicly, and often.

It will make things easier after the inaugural.

Newt was the last pol in DC to be responsible for a balanced budget.

This would be a huge resume for trump to put on the ticket.

No doubt about the fact that this trump team could clean this corruption up.

Newt was on board early & knows the xlintonistas well.

He’s the perfect fit for VP imo

“Trump / Newt - 2016”

I think Newt is to old. He’d do better as a chief of staff or Sec of State would suit him better.

At 69 there is a real possibility that Trump won’t run for a 2nd term. The VP should be a younger person

He would though be a great surrogate campaigner for Trump. Christie is not really much of a speaker, neither; truth be told, is Sarah Palin.

The Bushes are sore losers. Low class rich people who are too haughty to get told no on having their incompetent son/brother join their fraternity.

They have stood by while America hating BO destroyed the country without a peep only to try to poison the water for Trump. Their legacy is gone already, along with respect, admiration and fondness that many of us once had.

Good riddance.

Unfortunately in previous political battles the Newt was the target of Democrat inspired mean, vicious fabrications, and exaggerated truths that all too many to this day believe.

Even after his own daughter who was present at events involved in malicious Democrat inspired manipulations of the truth claimed their versions to be political bravo sierra, but the fabrications against the Newt are embedded, and the votes aren’t there for him as too many just won’t allow the truth to conquer the BS.

Most unfortunate how the Democrat liars have won, and we the people lose an effective member of the team we need to regain America.

Well, the coming election is no longer a mere contest between two parties. It is turning into a battle between grassroots and ruling class. We have a new "big tent" encompassing all disaffected voters from both sides.

We have Bushes, Romney and Clintons on one side and pissed-off voters of all stripes on the other side.

This will further help Trump. The appeal of cross-party uprising will attract more voters than usual.

Newt will be a valuable asset to Trump either as VP or chief of staff. Trump will need someone who knows how to cram legislation through Congress as quickly as possible.

Heard this earlier. It needs repeating again and again.

The Bush And Romneys sure took from the party and we went along. Now they refuse to be supportive.

Newt is a very intelligent man... however, something in him is just plain broken.

Here’s an example of how Newt’s brokenness in action:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvBwcf4kfCc

That’s a criminally insane line of thinking, to let terrorist attacks happen “to remind people”.

So while his input can definitely be useful at times, he really needs to be kept at arms length and what he suggests needs to be examined closely.

For what it’s worth, the lack of Bush and Romney’s endorsement could be a benefit to Trump....

That's the way I see it. Democrats especially have no love for Bush 43. And a lot of them are disgusted with the stench of Hillary's outright stealing of the nomination.

I think a lot of Sanders backers, seeing how he is not getting what he deserves from the popular vote, will switch to Trump...Not ALL Sanders backers are socialists...My guess is quite a few just can’t stand Hillary....

Newt said it was Kasich (who he loves like a son ) who did the work on the budget and assisted him with Contract with America (last week on FOX)

Here is an article from back then when JK was first running for president. And then the Condit -Levi incident happened and he and Joe Scarburough left town quickly
