Graham: Trump would lead to 'another 9/11'

Indianapolis (CNN)South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham is predicting "another 9/11" if Donald Trump is elected president.

In an interview on CBS' "Face the Nation" Graham said the Republican Party is in the midst of a "civil war" and called Trump's foreign policy positions dangerous.

He pointed to former House Speaker John Boehner's comments about his friendly relationship with Trump, and Boehner's dismissal of Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Trump's chief Republican presidential rival, as "Lucifer in the flesh."

Trump would lead to another 9/11?

Uh...no, islam will create another 9/11 whether Trump is President or not. 9/11 wasn’t about what America did to bin laden or the Taliban, it was about a religion of hate and their desire to dominate and terrorize America

Just because the media finds someone with an opinion who says something against someone doesn’t make it so. The Clinton’s were masters at the art of throwing something against the wall enough times, eventually it would stick.
Graham making a stupid statement against Trump is a perfect example.

Is that a warning or a threat?

Seriously the good people of South Carolina, what were you thinking?

I wonder the same thing about McCain and the good people in Arizona. How have two of the most liberal Republicans not been "primaried" out in two of the most conservative states? It just goes to show how entrenched incumbents backed by their parties and PACs can become.

It’s amazing - but not really - how the media are primed to broadcast every Graham utterance every day.

It reminds me of how McCain became media darling in 2000 primaries. Graham and McCain are two Republicans the liberal media could love, because during most of their Senate careers, they've spent more time attacking conservatives in their own party than attacking liberals. Now that Romney (like McCain) is no longer running against Obama and spends most of his time and energy attacking Trump, he's been redeemed in the eyes of the liberal media too.

My biggest gripe these days is not about backstabbers like Graham but that the Capitol Rotunda 2nd floor is by far the busiest area of the Capitol as Congress members do TV spots. Meanwhile, the Senate and House chambers have been all but deserted even during critical votes and for literally years on end thanks to the cynical, cowardly nature of ‘leaders’ including Reid, Pelosi, Boehner, McConnell and Ryan.

The biggest problem with Congress is not partisanship, it’s cowardice. The media are only to happy to facilitate governance by arguing on the boob tube but it has theoretical and practical limits.

Well, at least the ones vying for photo ops took the time to show up. Marco Rubio couldn’t even manage that.

“What else do we really elect them for but to keep this country safe.”

You must be kidding.

Foreign nationals had attempted to blow up the WTC in the 1990s. Foreign nationals were involved in 9/11. I guess I better go back and read the Constitution because I was under the mistaken impression that the constitution charges our officials to protect us from foreign attack? I thought who we let into this country was the responsibility of the Federal Government and the laws made by Congress.

Graham us a moron. No POTUS is responsible for what jihadists do. They are responsible for answering those jihadists.

Dear Poodle,

911 occurred just 8 months after the co-president Hillary Clinton left office. During a period known as the Bush was Selected, not Elected Time Period. Are you threatening the American people once again with a new, Trump was Elected, not Selected Time Period. My guess is you would have been happy voting for Jeb. Even though a Bush was President when 911 actually occurred.

He governs against the will of the state citizens who are mostly conservative, yet we cannot ever get rid of him.

Term limits would.

How much money does Graham get from the ‘five million for a smart bomb to hit a $50 shack with a goat herder in it’ groups of military contractors?

[[Graham: Trump would lead to ‘another 9/11’]]

No
Giving muslims weapons and allowing them into the country will lead to another 9/11 .
And our worthless congress critters have aloud Obama to do both.

I beg to differ. Bush took office in February. 9/11 was all ready to go by then. Clinton had 9/11 on his watch.

Everybody has an opinion, and they all stink.

“The threat to the future of capitalism is the fact that Reagan might fail so badly that he will become another ghost, like Herbert Hoover, to be invoked as an example of capitalism’s failure for another fifty years.” — Ayn Rand

Please vote him out! Graham you are one of the main reasons we are like we are today. Another 9/11 or bigger event will happen here because of the invaders/shariatype and illegals you and yours NWOtypes want here for cheap wages and permanent dem voter base.

You are a pyle. You make me ill.

What I meant is that their primary responsibility is to keep us free.

Even Communist China keeps their people ‘safe’ from foreign invaders. Protecting the citizenry from harm is not unique.

But even that responsibility has been abrogated by the Federal government. You may have noticed that even after the 9/11/01 terrorist attacks, the borders were kept as open as they ever were. Anyone who meant us harm could waltz right in - and collect welfare to boot. And it gets more egregious every day.

The Feds duties and responsibilities are limited, as per the Constitution. Protect the borders, protect our freedoms, uphold and protect the Constitution of the United States.

The rest is given to the states, then to the people.
