Ted Cruz has a net non-favorable rating amid Republican voters (Per Gallup) and the addition of Carly Fiorina has only worsened the condition of the Ted Cruz campaign.
Per Gallup, Cruz now has a negative net favorability rating among Republicans.

Cruz is uniformly hated in the Senate, he would never be confirmed, and his actions during this campaign are no way worthy of being on the SC.Why reward him?
He MAY be smart, but he is not able to distinguish truth and has no problem lying repeatedly.Trump can do better.

Another example that Lyin' Ted's "super intellect" is a total myth.
yeah Trump has in the last week shown he is in complete control of the process going forward.. He is looking like and acting like a strong presidential candidate,, He really doesn’t even have to acknowledge Cruz or Kasich again.. The Carley VP thing was a disaster like I knew it would be,, it looked like he hired a mommy to hold his hand,, when they came out together it looked like he should have been her VP ...Cruz has a very weak persona ,, Beta males make poor leaders
Between IN (57), WV (34) and NJ (51), we are talking 142 delegates that will bring Trump's total to around 1,145.
Then you have MT (27), NM (24), SD (29), WA (44), OR (28) and NE (36).
If Trump just wins half of those (90), he'll be at 1,235 before CA (172) - just needing two delegates. I think Trump does much better than that in those states by the way. He should have this clinched even without counting CA.
A blowout victory in CA will put Trump well over 1,300 and approaching 1,400.
I have no idea what the Cruz campaign is thinking. Choosing Carly Fiorina is a disaster. Not only is it not classy to choose a VP when you are mathematically eliminated from a first ballot victory but he chose a person whose name is synonymous with laying off American workers and outsourcing their jobs overseas. Carly brings absolutely nothing to the table and can only hurt Cruz.
His botched attempt to coordinate the remaining states with Kasich in a desperate attempt to keep Trump for the 1,237 is also not sitting well.
Cruz is also out of touch with reality if he thinks he can cruise into the convention with maybe 600 delegates and somehow come up with the 600+ delegates he needs on a second ballot.
Cruz’s behavior and tactics in this campaign have been shocking. It’s amazing how many people (many FReepers) who were favorably disposed toward him months ago now find him repugnant. The end game will not be pretty. Watching Ted these last few days reminds me of the Norman Bates character in Psycho. It feels like Ted’s about to crack. I wish someone would intervene and talk some sense into him.
WSJ/Marist just released a poll this morning that has Trump +15 in Indiana. And normally this poll is not sympathetic to Trump.

Cruzifer is the devil!
Yep. At some point, a losing candidate becomes irrelevant, and it is, right now, totally unimportant whether Cruz stays in or drops out. His moves have no impact on party unity (no matter what he does, he's going to be ignored), nothing to do with Trump's prospects going forward.
Meanwhile, Trump's ceiling is still 40%, bwahahahahahaha.
That would be illegal.
Hot off the presses! Just released in the past hour.
I only saw video of Carly signing to Ted’s daughters, did not hear her announcement as his VP pick or her comments at the event, but dear God!
Carly sings of looking forward to going on a bus trip to play and play and play?!!!
sweet as it may seem, clearly shows her priorities are messed up on what she was just picked to do.
I think he's cooked, baked, done. His net favorability won't fill a thimble. Nothing left to lose.
Cut it with the “Lyin’ Ted” meme, okay? I like Trump, and I voted for him in my state’s primary, and I will vote for him in the general election whether he is the nominee or not. But Trump pulled that “Lyin’ Ted” monicker straight out of Alinsky 101, and everyone with half a brain knows it. It’s effective, but untrue.
Yes, Cruz is hated in the Senate, and you make a valid point that the Senate may very well not confirm him. But I am hoping that enough WILL confirm him if for no other reason than to try to keep the U.S. from completely sliding into a Soviet mindset.
How so? Such things are done every day.
Trump is too much of a coward to debate him. We need another debate to finally finish Trump off! [ducking from freezers through in heavy objects and rotten foodstuffs.].
Agree, Trump will win the popular vote in WV. From what I understand they are getting organized here. Cruz seems to be desperate at times. A Trump Presidency I think would be a rollercoaster ride as he seems to be all over the place with some of his policies. He has much more upside than Mrs. Clinton and would hopefully shake up the bloated federal government.
