AND NOW... amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke... it is time for... that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-The-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and hes not retiring until every American agrees with him - do NOT doubt him - with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (thats Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! Americas anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A real man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander-in-Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do host. Get ready to what you were born to do listen. And post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread.
He's wrong about Cruz, but at the beginning of the campaign, I thought we had as close as we could get with Cruz. But I noticed early on that he just was not dynamic enough to catch fire. And Trump started pulling in amazing crowds and created excitement. And talking about building the wall, helping industry, lowering taxes, all the good things that we most need right now. That's when I started hoping for a Trump/Cruz alliance, with Cruz as the follow-on to a Trump presidency that might set the stage for a conservative resurgence. We can't govern as conservatives until we change the mindset of those who have grown up in the education system of the past 20 years. Trump can be the bridge to those voters.
Alas, it was not to be. Cruz went a different route, deciding to play the role of spoiler, damned be the cost. The cost is a President Hillary. He has gotten increasingly nasty, and in the process, has allied with the establishment. He has lost me, for good. I now have concerns about him as a person, as a husband and as a statesman.
Rush never went through that process. He still thinks of Cruz as many of us did in June 2015. He is frustrated that Cruz, the perfect candidate, is going to lose. He tries to be fair to the winner, but he just can't help himself, lashing out at "Trumpsters", and parroting Cruz talking points. He has never before been so wrong for so long about anything so important, but every time I think he may straighten out, he doesn't. I have pretty much given up on ever coming back. It's been a few weeks now, and my mornings are more productive. I check here, and see I'm not missing anything.
Maybe he should retire.
“...attack me...”
I do not engage in ad hominem attacks on posters here.
Trump’s official position on Planned Parenthood is to defund it. “...they are performing abortions so I would be totally opposed to funding.” Official interview transcript with Bill O’Rielly.
Trump never said that he would take 15% of the individual citizen’s net worth as a tax rate. 15% maximum on corporate income - 0 tax for marrieds making less than $50,000.00.

Hey, there, Onyx!
After decades with Rush, I am so sad. Almost a grief thing. (Have arrived at the Acceptance stage now.) What has happene

what has happened to Rush? he’s supporting the most conservative in the race....while......you people are fawning over a silly make believe Fabio like painting of Trump...
what has happened to Rush....really?
Is this a personal conflict between Rush and Trump? A business venture blocked? A strong arm play to show Trump how powerful and influential Rush can be?
With the deep divide affecting many conservative talk show hosts, the time is ripe for a new, fresh approach, balanced and entertaining conservative host to appear and take the disaffected from Rush and Levin
Go Sox! Poor Braves so far. Should never have left Boston!
(Go Mets!)
The only reason to attack you personally is that you’re obviously too stupid to do the research and find that your talking points are complete B.S..
Other than that, I’m sure you’re a great individual.
Not as much fantasy as your belief that TPA, Coker, Goldman Sach, NAU, Bushie boy is a conservative. Talk about delusional you guys really are.
Add Tom Sullivan to the toxic GOP stew.
Jim Robinson supports a democrat for President? Have you told him that? Or do you prefer to slink around on the periphery?
Well, there may have been cheating going on in Colorado...Did not hear Rushbo mention it, so I will..
As per Breaking news thread:
Gist:
The chairwoman of the Boulder County GOP has admitted that grave errors affected the Colorado Republican caucus, in which Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)97% won a clean sweep of 34 delegates without opening up the process to voting by everyday citizens.
Breitbart News has obtained an email that Boulder County GOP chairwoman Peg Cage sent to other top Republican officials in Colorado, including to other party chairs, describing the errors in the process that led to the perception of fraud. Reached for comment on the email, Cage said that the caucus might have to be done over.

His main style of investing is in land; hes a real estate tycoon.
Wrote Business book entitled The Art of the Deal,
Built and operates Golf Courses.

Fabio my arse!
“Rush has proven over and over that he is a minder for the conservatives, to keep them on the GOP plantation.”

Sadly, the evidence is starting to accumulate showing that could be the case. But I still do hope he continues with the kids’ history books.
“Mitt Romney and team Jeb Bush are now in control of the Cruz campaign. “
Sadly it appears that Mitt (via Bain Capital) had a hand in “helping” Heart Radio and Rush’s own contract. Apparently Heart Radio is approaching bankruptcy.
Oh wow. I’m so sorry to hear this. That explains a lot. Prayers up for the will of God in this entire situation. While I’m disappointed in Rush lately, I do wish him well.
” What he does is repeat what he hears from the establishment high rollers that he hobnobs with. “
Good point.
I had not put that together about Kit C. That is quite a datum point there.
Belated “HEY!”
Bain Capital (And another similar investor) owns the remainder of his 500 million contract. They are approaching bankruptcy. Bankruptcy negates contracts. Connect the dots. It does not take a rocket brain scientist surgeon to see the sword of Damocles above his head. He sold out for personal benefit.
It only took 8 million to get Levin and Beck in line (Cruz Super PAC) Whatever is left on Rush’s contract did him in.
I explain it here: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3424817/posts?page=338#338
I really don’t think Rush is concerned about his contract. He can make many millions on another network or he can even probably make more on a subscription basis, although the number of listeners would decline. He is at a point where they have to beg him not to retire, not where he has to beg to keep his job.
