Donald Trump has been saying it for months, and now as he continues to build his delegate lead over his GOP rivals Ted Cruz and John Kasich, he is demanding Republicans unify and prepare to go to war with the Hillary Clinton campaign.
And now a longtime Democrat Party consultant has just admitted it is that war that Hillary has feared the most.
The consultant went on to explain that of all the GOP candidates remaining, Ted Cruz would be by far the easiest for Hillary to defeat, though she also indicated any “regular” Republican would have been far simpler to combat than the non-traditional Trump who continues to generate significant crossover appeal among blocs of voters who Democrats have long considered theirs and theirs alone such as Blacks, (legal) immigrants, blue collar Democrats, etc.
I would not want to run against Donald Trump because I think he’s the most dangerous candidate. Give me Ted Cruz, give me John Kasich, give me any of the vanquished they’re traditional politicians, easy to beat. And, Ted Cruz, in particular, way outside the mainstream…Donald Trump…will be a very, very tough candidate to face in a general election.

The uniparty is not going to support any candidate who wants to end:
1. Continuous armed global intervention.
2. Existing trade deals.
3. Illegal immigration.
The old guard of the GOP will undermine Trump at every opportunity.

Prominent pastors don’t speak out about pretty much anything these days. When the “gay marriage” U.S. Supreme Court ruling was announced last summer, I took a look at the Twitter accounts of quite a few of them, including Rick Warren and Charles Stanley. They ignored it completely. Warren must have gotten a heads up what the decision would be, or didn’t want to risk being anywhere near the U.S., because he just happened to be halfway across the world at the time, in the Philippines I believe, and if I recall correctly, he tweeted something the day before about doing baptisms there, but that was his only tweet for a number of days. And almost all of them are silent and do nothing about religious freedom issues as well. Instead they work on churning out Christianized psychobabble and self-help in their megachurches and in their cottage industry of books, calendars, Bibles, home decor, etc. Max Lucado did take time out from all that to condemn Trump’s presidency. As he said, it was such a dire situation that it was only one of a few times in decades that he’d ever felt compelled to take a public stand on anything. Apparently he’s otherwise been content with how the world is going.
But Christians, too, are overall too distracted with the quite probably hundreds of thousands if not millions of things that can - and are meant to - distract people these days, from the new Star Wars movie last year to the season opener of Game of Thrones, to name just two.
And I have been glad for anyone who speaks out for Christianity and against everything in political correctness which is against it. But Trump has flip-flopped on abortion, and has himself declared his approval of men using the women’s restroom, and women using the men’s.
It doesn’t seem likely that anyone with broad enough appeal, and the connections, to get elected to most public offices these days will be committed to Christian beliefs. But again it is hardly only the fault of politicians or the elites because Christians are being consumed by the world’s distractions.
Trump said yesterday he’s tired of hearing all this “act presidential” nonsense. He says he’s been told he’s handsome but needs to “act presidential”, then he goes on to say does Hillary Clinton look/act presidential. Already he’s being attacked for daring to say the great Benghazi killer is not very “presidential”. I personally am sick and tired of hearing the word “presidential”. Did anyone say Obama was not acting presidential when he called Palin a pig in lipstick or when he said if someone brings a knife to a fight you bring a gun? Anyone that knows anything about ex presidents know they all act different in public than they acted in private. Maybe with the exception of Teddy Roosevelt, who would belittle the hell out of anyone in public and say whatever came out of his mouth. LBJ cussed worst then a sailor, and there’s stories of him talking to heads of state when all the sudden he had to go to the bathroom. He would tell them to keep on talking that he was going to the bathroom. He would go sit on he commode with the door open and kept talking. Bill and Hillary Clinton are to of the most vile human beings that ever lived. Both cuss constantly, especially the witch and she loves to belittle “the help” as she refers to anyone that works for her, especially the Secret Service. “Mother***** mother****** that.” “Get my f****** suitcase”. That’s Hillary Clinton. Clinton running around with any young girl that looked at him straight and this went on for all 8 years he was in the White House. Most degenerates that have served as president have been democrats. One thing you can say about Trump. He’s not a phony acting politician and that’s why he leading.
Trump will be the next president and the media will be surprised that the election won’t even be close.
They fear the IRS. Which is sad because the Constitution is 100% on their side.
If Christians had 1/10th the political commitment that homosexuals have shown in pursuit of their agenda there wouldn't be an elected official outside a few small liberal bastions that would dare say a word against Biblical morality.
I don’t believe it is fear of the IRS stopping them, but that either they don’t entirely believe the Bible, or believe their congregations and Christians overall in America won’t accept its teachings, or both.

Amen. And that leads to the question, why don’t Christians have that?
Like most Americans they're getting their moral guidance from the television they watch for hours every day, not the pastor/minister/priest they hear an hour or two a week.
And that weekly respite only applies to the most dedicated Christians who go to church every week.
Meanwhile the television is using every propaganda trick in the book to undermine faith, particularly in regard to traditional teaching on love and marriage.
Is it any wonder that Hollywood values begin to displace Christian morality? Worst of all, the Christian community isn't being coerced, they're being seduced. Most even allow their children to watch this garbage.
Actually, there's something even worse than that. Most Americans are paying to have their culture attacked. If you haven't done it already cancel your cable today.

I agree on what entertainment is doing, and don’t have cable myself. I watch non-fiction on TV when I do watch it, but occasionally will watch a show to see what is being given to the public. And what is happening to Christians is by seduction, and has made me wonder if our modern world might be the “strong delusion” mentioned in the Bible.
Christians have been taking on the world’s viewpoints, “logic,” and values, and so when the world’s propaganda comes along, they largely buy it too.
And so often they are not passing along Christianity to the younger generations, including their own children, because they forget that their Christian “eyes” were formed years ago, so they still see things partly from a Christian perspective and resist some of the antichristian messages today, but the younger generations know nothing else, and see their elders accepting what the world offers.
The Bible says, “Guard your heart.”
Churches and Christian groups often have grown into businesses and marketing, too, and try to look like the world and compete with it, rather than trying to make a Christian path in this world. The world has thrown some new possibilities at us, and we are giving in rather than being like David against Goliath.
It very well might be the case that young people can’t be prevented from following the world and wanting to “experience” it, and in a qualified way parents probably should let them do so in some ways, but the church then also should work on developing spiritual maturity rather adopting the world’s view of protacting adolescence throughout life as much as possible.

If she had any sense, she would quit, get healthy, and spend as much time with her grandbaby as she could.

Good post. I can't add much other than to say that there are two things that are essential. One, reduce the influence of the present day media as much as possible. One suggestion is to stick to classic movies, television shows and cartoons. For a fraction of the price of cable you can build up a good library of healthy entertainment on DVD or Bluray. Most of it from before the sixties. The other is to homeschool if you possibly can manage it. Between public education and the media children often spend eleven hours a day under liberal influence.
