When Mitt Romney took to TV to denounce Donald Trump and declared war on the Trump campaign, he and his team of Bush politicos, including Neil Bush, took over the Cruz campaign. Cruz became a part of the GOPe establishment which he was supposedly against. Rush has been overtly pushing Cruz from that time and undermining Trump in not so subtle ways. Bain Capital and Romney is an interesting back story to the seemingly contradictory positions of people we thought we knew.

Ain't that the truth. In previous threads, I've asked Cruz supporters to name specific candidates in the past who did what Cruz is doing now with delegates. None have been named and substantiated. Some try the "everybody does it" excuse, but I don't think so.
I do wonder if anyone has ever tried to go in and have Trojan Horse delegates assigned to a candidate in delegate slots the candidate won in the primaries.
I hope voters in every state start scrutinizing the delegate selection process and really get after the party grand poobahs and force some changes.
You forgot about George Putnam who never left the Democrat Party in name but was more conservative than Rush.
Putnam was talking illegal immigration before there was a Rush and I would bet Rush took a large portion of his format from George Putnam.

Yep, this is the most patronizing, intellectually dishonest bunch of nonsense I have ever heard from Rush. NO ONE supporting Trump says Cruz is cheating. Is he playing by the rules. Sure. Are those rules, as they are today, going to benefit him, the party or the country in any way shape of form? No way..
Today we will see that he does not stand a snowball’s chance in hell of picking up any state in the North East. If he wins on a second or third ballot he and the GOPe will nuke the party from orbit. There is no way at this point he will ever beat Clinton.
Honorable candidates in the past have all dropped out to the presumptive nominee when there was no realistic way of winning the nomination on votes.

My guess is that when they took over Cruz’s campaign, they reached out to Rush with the moolah. Rush is cheap, wine and dine, give him a gym bag of loot, and after dinner, he will be more than glad to carry your water. He’s done it since 1992.

You know Rush we gots the internet on computers and we are discussing you auguring your show into the ground. In real-time, with no option to not have "enough time to be fair to another caller".
Seems to be the only time when he cares about fairness. Please continue Rush to tell how gaming the system is a good thing in anyway when we are trying to stop the advance ment of the GOPe globalists.
Perhaps Rush should have another dinner with Chuck Schumer and have him explain it

I am not a Cruz supporter, but I'll answer with "Ron Paul." The reaction of various state parties was to change the rules to make it more difficult for unapproved candidates to swamp the process with their zealots.
