Donald Trump may be the only Republican presidential candidate who can realistically hit the magic 1,237 number for the majority of delegates, but according to a senior Republican National Committee official that does not mean he will become the GOP presidential nominee.
Curly Haugland, a longstanding RNC official and an unbound delegate from North Dakota who will be on the convention rules committee in July, told CNBC that attaining 1,237 during the primaries does not secure the nomination.
"Even if Trump reaches the magic number of 1,237 the media and RNC are touting, that does not mean Trump is automatically the nominee," Haugland said. "The votes earned during the primary process are only estimates and are not legal convention votes. The only official votes to nominate a candidate are those that are cast from the convention floor."

If Cruz gets the nomination, it would be ironic if the Dems try to test his eligibility and it results in exposing Obama’s indisputable ineligibility. Eight years in office would be null and void.
‘Natural born’ US citizenship... Congress has the authority to naturalize citizenship. But no act of Congess or any court can bequeath ‘natural born’ US citizenship... Remember. We the people are government. Two US citizen parents birthing their child on US soil creates ‘natural born’ US citizenship. It is akin to a birthright.. If you have that birthright you should not let somebody, anybody con you out of it.

This is not meant as a personal attack, so please don’t take it that way. The internet is rife with macho armchair blustering, so I’d really like to know:
1. Who is “we”? I assume the Republican voting public, certainly not organized enough to do anything major in response to a called dare.
2. What would you, “we” or any individual do if the GOPe actually did do something “this STUPID”? My guess is...maybe a strongly-worded post?
Only Trump could do anything about GOPe shenanigans. He might try for a half-hearted write-in campaign, or run as a third party candidate, either of which would almost certainly ensure Hillary’s presidency, which I believe is the GOPe’s plan anyway.
We must weaken the foundations and cut the chains holding the tower in place.
