All my life I thought criminals were supposed to be locked away from civil society. Apparently no one ever in his pathetic life taught Obama any rules of civilized society.
(1.) We know that simply locking people up doesn’t make communities safer. It doesn’t deal with the conditions that lead people to criminal activity in the first place, or to return to prison later. After all, there’s evidence that a 10 percent increase in the high school graduation rate leads to a nearly 10 percent decrease in arrest rates.
(2.) A ten percent wage increase for men without a college degree lowers crime by as much as 20 percent.
(1.) So if only more blacks valued their education, there would be less crime? But what does Obama propose to do about a ghetto culture which devalues doing well in school as acting white??? But aren’t communities safer if there are fewer criminals there, because they have been locked up?
(2.) So giving everyone a raise will cut crime rates? But the problem here is that, how does this get paid for? How does business give all their non college educated men a raise? Can they all just raise the prices of all the good and services the company sells to fund these raises? And aren’t big numbers of criminals not even working at a real job in the first place, so giving everyone a raise wouldn’t really cut the crime rate??
Just wonder about the liberal thought process sometimes. These are examples of liberal pablum in my opinion.

The prison population is disproportionally black and latino because CRIMINALS ARE DISPROPORTIONATELY BLACK AND LATINO. That is a fact according easily determined by looking at the statistics.

No, they don't imprison enough. And they don't kill enough. We would solve a lot of problems if we simply carried out death sentences.

Suddenly the insane idea that “The Great ObamaNation”™ will grant an across the board pardon for all this Summer doesn’t seem so far fetched.
The idea that releasing violent criminals from prison or treating violent thugs with a slap on the wrist and a hug will stop the out of control crime in those cities is ludicrous.
But liberal use of the death penalty certainly would.
Prisons have become mental institutions.

CA Prop 47 shows what happens under that theory. The police don’t even bother to come out if called on vandalism or burglary. Home crimes have increased dramatically, but nothing can be done about it. Homeowners have to install cameras, alarms, keep everything locked up tight and watch each other’s backs. Neighbor men have to go out together and tell vagrants to move on and stay away from the school route. This is Obama’s America.
