During a protest against Hillary Clinton on Friday, supporters of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) threw $1,001 in singles at Clintons motorcade as she was on her way to attend a fundraiser at the home of George Clooney, CNN reported.
The protestors said the demonstration was supposed to represent the absurdity of campaign finance laws and to protest the amount of money funneled into political campaigns by Wall Street and wealthy celebrities.
Once Clintons motorcade drove through the protest, Sanders supporters danced in the street, stomping on the dollar bills.
One protestor named Howard Gold explained he doesnt support the former first lady because of her foreign policy views.
She is the most militaristic of any of the candidates, Gold, 56, said, citing Clintons tenure as secretary of state. I really think she is.
The $1,001 were all single dollar bills, which were distributed to the protestors by Gold. His family founded the 99 Cents Only Stores.
Clintons campaign defended her celebrity-studded fundraiser by attacking Sanders, saying the Vermont Senator has only recently started raising money for Democrats while Clinton has done so for a long time.
Hillary Clinton has made it a priority to raise money for Democrats up and down the ballot, and were grateful to everyone who supports the party, said Christina Reynolds, a Clinton campaign spokeswoman. We frequently hear about how much money Senator Sanders is raising; maybe he can send a few of those $27 donations to the DNC [Democratic National Committee] and state parties across the country to help the party he hopes to lead.
Rush was just talking about this.

I am sure ol Clooney was at the Hollywood fundraiser...
They left are usually vulgar and violent with their protests, but they are occasionally funny and creative too

Thats just like Bernie supporters to throw away someone elses money.
the $1,001 would maybe have paid for one of her infamous (and hopeless) “beauty shop” appointments

She treats her poor “husband” the same way
The Europeans, French, German and Brit seem to be more creative...
A recent demo had a pair of demonstrators holding a large legible sign, handcuffed together; the sign read, holding up the handcuffs, "saving these for [HILLARY?]"
and after 8 were injured and 22 arrested as they scuffled to pick up the $1 bills. BTW, the event was not to raise money for Hillary, it was for other Democrats. something that Uncle BS does not believe in, team playing
ha!
(ALL KIDDING ASIDE about her looks,
she really does look awfully ill these days.....
like she has some serious medical problem...?)
her choice of VP will be very important...
(her “inseperable” Muslim foreign agent side-kick perhaps?)
Yeah - that will be a tough decision for Hillary what with Margaret Sanger, Lenin, Trotsky, Stalin, Khrushchev, Mao, Pol Pot and Che Guevera dead, Fidel Castro close to it, and George Clooney under contract for 3 more films.
Maybe she will go with a black like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton or Bill Clinton.
Yes. Or maybe VIce President “Reverand” Wright ?
