There are several resident status classifications in the United States: natural born citizen, naturalized citizen, diplomatic immunity, temporary resident (on a visa), lawful permanent resident (green card holder), and illegal alien. Ted Cruz isn't the child of diplomats, and he was never naturalized as a citizen.
So either he is an illegal alien or a natural born citizen. There is no middle ground. If you don't believe he is a natural born citizen, then you believe there is an illegal alien serving in the U.S. Senate. There is no middle ground. You should immediately call for his deportation.
The Constitution gives explicit power to the Congress to determine citizenship and border enforcement. Since the Constitution never defines explicitly what natural born citizen means, that means beginning with the 1790 Naturalization Act Congress has been defining it which the Constitution gives Congress the power to do.

Well of course. It is the fact that they have lazy and incompetent idiots sitting on the bench that makes it so.
They are "procedure bound". They don't do their homework. Their methodology of "precedent" is horribly flawed. They listen only to forked tongued credentialed fools that are regarded as the "in" crowd in their larger "legal workers" social group, and they are as rational as a dart board.
This is why their is a virtually continuous stream of crap emanating from the various judiciary around the country. They couldn't hack Science and Engineering, which takes REAL intelligence, so they went into the quasi-logical sophistry that we call "law."
The Courts get to resolve ALL cases and controversies arising under the Constitution.
They get to decide which direction the guns are pointed. They don't "resolve" anything, at least in the manner of providing a well thought out, well reasoned solution to a problem.
If you dont like it, move somewhere else.
Or we could just keep mocking and undermining their incompetent authority at every opportunity until we can get to a point where the public is ready to decorate lampposts with them.
That might actually solve some problems.
You said: “Their deliberations have no merit. Neither do their conclusions. They have power, but they do not have the correct answers.”
That has no bearing on the need to inform the people of America that the Judiciary is wrong when it is wrong.
People need to be aware that the Judiciary is not looking out for their best interests. People need to be aware of the need to root out bad judiciary that have corrupted our system.
Bad judiciary is like a cancer. (Normal cells turned malignant.) I and others are simply attempting to spread awareness of our currently cancerous judiciary.
Under Advice and Consent, the U.S. Senate decides who becomes a federal judge and who doesn’t. Barack Obama has had 324 federal judges confirmed and six Obama nominees were withdrawn and Obama’s second choice was then confirmed.
120 Obama judges were confirmed unanimously and 38 were confirmed on unanimous consent. An additional 63 Obama judges were confirmed on a voice vote with no roll call.
For example, here are the Senate votes on some new 2016 Obama federal court judges: Luis Felipe Restrepo, 3rd District Court of Appeals, 83-6; John Michael Vasquez, District of New Jersey, 84-2; Rebecca G. Ebinger, Southern Iowa, 83-0; Leonard T. Strand, Northern Iowa, 93-0, Waverly D. Crenshaw, Jr., Middle District of Tennessee, 92-0.
