Conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly says six state leaders are ousting her from the Eagle Forum organization she founded because of her support of Donald Trump, and five of them support Sen. Ted Cruz.
Schlafly released a statement Monday claiming the group is trying to take over the organization by controlling bank accounts, firing employees and hiring their own.
I think its an attempt to vote me out, Schlafly told the conservative World Net Daily. Its disloyal, and its terribly shocking, and Im completely depressed about it.
Among those Schlafly called out by name Monday was Cathie Adams, who served as Texas Eagle Forum president for the last 23 years.

Cruzlims only too happy to throw grandma over the cliff and yelling "All-at-bar" as they pry delegates with free drinks who defect to Cruz.

That’s what happens when you endorse a liberal elitist establishment type who supports Hillary for president, Reid and Shummer. Duh.

This is just one reason I left the "party"; so now I post this as my response! An open letter to America from the Pennsylvania Veterans Party of America Chair Gary Garvine: This is why to vote for Third Party: The biggest objection to voting for a Third Party is the wasted vote argument the idea that if you vote for someone who will not win, then the vote does not count. Voting for a third party, contrary to popular belief, is not a wasted vote. Its a chance to tell the country and perhaps even the world what your vision of government and society really is. But how do most of us vote? Most of us vote the lesser of two evils a defensive vote, rather than an offensive one. So what happens after you vote the defensive vote? Well, then you have sold out your personal beliefs. You have become a political prostitute. You arent standing up for what you believe in by voting the lesser of two evils. I dont know about you, but Im tired of being a political hooker. If you think the Republican or the Democrat really does best mirror your beliefs, by all means, vote for that candidate. But if you dont, and you still vote for them, youre helping to preserve the status quo you probably despise. So Whats the Point of Voting? We vote to tell everyone else which choice best represents the direction which we want the country to go. When you vote, you gain a certain power that a non-voter doesnt have; the power to change America. Hence voting lesser evil sends the wrong message; its sending a message of compromise. In effect, a defensive vote says I will settle for a good America, not the best America possible. I urge you not to settle. In other words, if you want change, then create change. The history of third parties in America is that they serve as the vanguard for new ideas. It is these ideas that make the world go round. If a Third Party begins to draw votes, one or both of the two big parties steal their ideas. The most successful third party in the 20th Century was the Socialist Party. While never winning any significant elections, their small but growing vote totals were a threat to the Democrats. Thus the Democrats, and then later the Republicans, adopted piecemeal every major tenet of the 1916 Socialist Party platform. So rather than waste your vote on Democrats or Republicans, cast a meaningful ballot that clearly says what you believe. #VPA #VPPA #VPofA @VetsPA www.vpofa.org www.veteranspartyofamerica.org www.chriskeniston2016.com

It’s sort of a stupid thing to do.
They are taking down their ship for a guy who is not going to win and who is hundreds of delegates behind.
Do they honestly think that Eagle Forum is ‘them’?
It’s Phyllis Schlafly. The other people are absolute nobodies.

Ted and his supporters have shown their true colors.
Nothing will be allowed but Ted.
Even Schlafley is subject to the purge.
Rush was smart. He wanted to stay on the radio.
Drudge, you’re up.
F.R., you dregs on there better shape up! You’re on borrowed time.
The Cruz folks can’t see any problems with any of this.
I’ve seen some very naive political people in my day, but even a blind man could see this from deep space.

Pushing old ladies off the cliff.
They might as well. They pushed Middle American into decline while looting and deceiving them for decades.
No one is exempt for the crown of corruption in D.C.

There are two reasons to be leery of spending a lot of money by getting a life membership in some organization or leaving them money in your will. One is that after a couple decades they may evolve into a communist front. The other is that they be get co-opted by a coup at any moment.

Cruzlims make me sick. This woman singlehandedly nuked the ERA amendment in the 1970s, among SO many battles, and was one of Ronald Reagan’s closest friends.

So only Trump voters count? How easily your dismiss 2/3 of republican voters.
