His views are against ours
Ted Cruz came to New York Wednesday talking about education, but hes the one who got schooled.
The lesson came from a group of Bronx high school students who told the Republican presidential candidate to stay away.
Cruz was scheduled to speak at Bronx Lighthouse College Preparatory Academy until students wrote a letter to the principal asking her not to let Cruz come, prompting staffers to cancel the appearance.
"We told her if he came here, we would schedule a walkout," said Destiny Domeneck, 16. "Most of us are immigrants or come from immigrant backgrounds. Ted Cruz goes against everything our school stands for."
Destiny and her classmates communicated that sentiment to Lighthouse Principal Alix Duggins.
A group of students will be leaving during 4th period, as (an) act of civil disobedience in regards to the arrival of Ted Cruz to BLCPA, the letter said. We have all considered the consequences of our actions and are willing to accept them.

I second!
FReecilians Club!
“Chump don’ want de help, chump don’ get de help. Jive ass turkeys.”
Gratzie!
If people here would realize that they have almost ZERO control and influence over what happens in the end, and just chilled out, it would be peaceful here.
Unfortunately, primaries are an illusion. I'm with Twain. If voting made a difference, they wouldn't let us do it.
I like that quote.
I LAUGHED way back when when someone told me I would get heated during the primaries.
I told them they were crazy.
They weren’t.
There’s a bunch of us with Sicilian parents or grandparents on the board.
I was shocked to find out how many.
Melting pot of great food flavors and hot bloodlines!
I hope to visit when we head back to Italy.
True.
It’s breathtaking. Don’t bother with a translator app. Every other village has a different variation of the language :)
Now I’m dying to go back. Such beauty!!!
There aren't too many registered Repubbies in the Bronx, and NY is a closed primary. But cruz doesn't stand a chance in NYC.
I reported it to Brietbart news but they ignored it.
That was shameful and disgustingly anti-American on his part.
This is the kind of thing that happens when you prepare kids for college.
The answer to this is very simple, regardless of who the students are “protesting”
“Anyone not in class 4th Period, will not be here 5th Period, 6th Period, 7th period, tomorrow, next week, etc.
This is a special competitive public school where attendance is a privilege, not a right. Only 20% of the strident applying are admitted. If you leave, your seat won’t even get cold before a more seriously committed student will be taking your seat in class, and your place e in life.
If you are not smart enough to listen to someone express an opinion you disagree with, then evaluate that opinion against your current beliefs, and then make life choices based on those decisions, you do not have enough life skill to succeed in our school, or life.
If you walkout, keep walking back to your regularly assigned area high school.”
Disagree. Some of those NYC districts, you can play: spot the Republican. There are so many Democrats that retail politics might actually syphon off a delegate from Trump the way NY apportions.
The Serrano Bronx district (CD-15) is D+43 -- the most RAT district in the country. That's why Kasich and Cruz are there
CD+13 (Rangel's district) is D+42.
Those RAT hellholes are so bad that you could practically do retail politics, New Hampshire style and do well there.
Maybe minimum wage fast food janitor positions will still be available after they replace the cashiers with kiosks.
I agree with that. You can bet they aren’t the ones running the asylum though, and the ones that are, won’t be all that pleased hearing themselves trashed for months on end as people with NY Values.
Whether I understand that reference or not, nobody wants to hear that noise about their home town or state.
Ted should have known at some point he would need their support. Now what?
I’m German, you know what happens when we get hyper.
