All of course assuming Mrs. Cruz (mother) was US citizen, that fact being uncontested.

Also, who could be used?

Not Cruz. He is not electing himself President. The only defendants would be the individual state electors, each one of them individually, or the President of the Senate, (Biden) for “receiving their votes,” or some weird Writ of Mandamus to prevent him from doing so.

A total non-starter

They need to call a Dr. for those four hour e***ctions. It’s gonna be a while before they get another. Seriously though, they seem a bit too jazzed up about “we’ll steal a nomination at the convention” strategy and we win if Hill gets indicted. Inside straight dreaming, Cruz would lose more states than Romney.

But citizenship by birth is established by the mere fact of birth under the circumstances defined in the constitution. Every person born in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, becomes at once a citizen of the United States, and needs no naturalization. A person born out of the jurisdiction of the United States can only become a citizen by being naturalized, either by treaty, as in the case of the annexation of foreign territory, or by authority of congress, exercised either by declaring certain classes of persons to be citizens, as in the enactments conferring citizenship upon foreign-born children of citizens, or by enabling foreigners individually to become citizens by proceedings in the judicial tribunals, as in the ordinary provisions of the naturalization acts. - U.S. v. Wong Kim Ark, 169 U.S. 649, 702-703 (1898)

> The foreign-born child is a citizen AT the moment of birth

Not always.

For example, the Immigration and Nationality Act, Pub. L. No. 82-414 § 301(a)(7), 66 Stat. 163, 236 (1952), the foreign-born child is not a citizen if the citizen parent does not meet the requirements of this statute.

And that’s the kind of guy Editor-Surveyor has always been.

Shoveling GOPe/RNC manure by the wheel barrow full.

Don’t it just rain on your parade when folks recognize you for what you are, a GOPe/RNC shill?

Awww, you poor thing. Nobody is buying your propaganda.

Isn’t that a shame.

You can’t destroy the message, so you try to destroy the messenger.

Good luck with that Harpo.

Trump won twice as many counties as Cruz did yesterday.

That really surprised me.

In Ohio that would mean a huge divide between urban and rural. I assume it means the same in Wisconsin. That’s really curious.

These clowns really think they’ve arrived now that Ted needs 95% of the remaining delegates.

What a hoot!

“These clowns really think they’ve arrived now that Ted needs 95% of the remaining delegates.”

I’m convinced they’re primarily Hillary shills, with a few misguided souls tossed in the mix.

I lean more toward Hillary allowing the GOPe/RNC to manage their house. Ultimately they do help her though.

Yes, I agree there are a few misguided fools in the mix. Others are just flat out propagandists.

“Once he starts doing that, we can debate about what’s conservative again, okay?”

Why wait?

Better question, why vote to elect someone when there are serious doubts about their conservatism based on behavior, temperament, and the things they say in public.

You are willing to take a chance. Fine. I’m not.
