While stumping for GOP front-runner Donald Trump, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin was speaking to a group of mostly establishment conservatives, and she ended up silencing the room after revealing a damning secret about Sen. Ted Cruzs past that he didnt want out.
During her speech, the audience remained quite quiet as Palin explained to them the importance of not falling for deception, which they would be doing if the supported Cruz and his weak and opportunistic position on immigration. Evidence of his position, as Palin explained to the crowd, was when he accompanied Glenn Beck in McAllen, Texas to hand out gift baskets to illegals.
Almost immediately, Twitter blew up with mockery of Palin as establishment conservatives circled the wagons to protect their guy. Check out some of the replies:

More exposed than to his personal gang of five, no doubt.
It’s a GANG OF 8 ( at least/last count ) and there may be more.
If this is all the ammo you have, Heidi should go drapery shopping on Monday for the family quarters.
I did not realize that this was not common knowledge. Surely there are no Cruz supporters here who did not know about this misadventure with Beck?
“...probably the quietest room I’ve ever heard for Sarah Palin speech.”

Sounds like folks were not impressed.
Lol no kidding.
These folks are losing it... One delegate at a time I might add...
Cruz being against the American constitution is all we need.
You don't have that, either.
People weren’t impressed because most of us know that Cruz was trying to bring to light the human suffering that Obama was causing at the border with his promises of amnesty. Cruz said that he wanted all those children to be reunited with their families on the other side of the border! They also remember when he had to hear all kinds of liberal whining when he told a little Dreamer that he would deport her if he was elected President. I’ve lost what little respect I had left for Sarah Palin.
And still, the GOPe circling the wagons must warm your heart 2nd.
When Trump needs support, MILLIONS of people are there, NOT the damn GOPe that your little man has bedded.
Makes no sense, kinda like you were against them before you were for them?! What a cowardly joke this has become.
It gets sicker by the day.
BRAVA AAG; go get ‘em, Girl! :-)
They ALL should have been sent back IMMEDIATELY!
Just look at those people; fat, ugly, just here for the "goodies" !
Go Palin
Why the hell it not
Trump/Palin
Heidi will probably divorce Cruz if he doesn’t win the nomination, and she’ll probably end up running for the Senate herself while her ex-husband goes on a prolonged religious retreat.
Heidi should go shopping for a shrink; forget about decorating the White House...the Cruz family shall NEVER live there !
That was all a lie too, and they knew it because they were sitting there handing out teddy bears to entire families of illegals. The "children by themselves ,crossing the desert" thing was always a falsehood.
In her Wisconsin debut as a Donald Trump surrogate, Sarah Palin was met with tepid applause and stone-faced silence Friday night at a Milwaukee County Republican gathering.
In contrast, the 750 Republicans at American Serb Hall cheered enthusiastically for Sen. Ted Cruz, who was introduced by Gov. Scott Walker and talk radio host Vicki McKenna.
The contrasting receptions illustrated why the Texas senator has surged past the real estate mogul and reality TV celebrity in the latest polls, especially in southeastern Wisconsin.
You people ... is there nothing in your arsenal besides Teddy bears?
The silence that met Sarah’s remarks was because of disgust.
