While stumping for GOP front-runner Donald Trump, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin was speaking to a group of mostly establishment conservatives, and she ended up silencing the room after revealing a damning secret about Sen. Ted Cruzs past that he didnt want out.
During her speech, the audience remained quite quiet as Palin explained to them the importance of not falling for deception, which they would be doing if the supported Cruz and his weak and opportunistic position on immigration. Evidence of his position, as Palin explained to the crowd, was when he accompanied Glenn Beck in McAllen, Texas to hand out gift baskets to illegals.
Almost immediately, Twitter blew up with mockery of Palin as establishment conservatives circled the wagons to protect their guy. Check out some of the replies:

Me too!!!!!
The only reason you say that is because she’s endorsing a competing candidate.
That event was well known around here, but out in the real world, it appears that not many people know about it.
Have you signed your non-disclosure statement with DDT yet?
There are many who think the same way. I wonder if Palin’s negatives are as great as DT’s. What a team, eh?
Ah, yes. Decisions, decisions.
(Finally moving back to the old country!)
AI think he’s excaped from some loony bin... they’re probably looking for him somewhere nearby... (Lock your doors ;^))
My support for Cruz ended when he hired Neil Bush for his financial campaign advisor...then Jeb endorses him and he embraces it with open arms and is now knee deep in establishment support. Is there no one else qualified to run his finances than a member of the Bush family? I guess I was ignorant to think of him as an outsider, but I jumped ship after that.
She tried to make fun of Cruz giving away soccer balls to illegal kids. Kids. Freaking innocent kids. Not like he used other people's money to do something nice. It was hot meals, teddy bears and soccer balls, not a touchback visa like Trump endorses.
I would get people out and then have an expedited way of getting them back into the country so they can be legal. A lot of these people are helping us and sometimes it's jobs a citizen of the United States doesn't want to do. I want to move em out, and we're going to move em back in and let them be legal.
This teddy bear thing was posted about 40 times on FR, it was nothing new.
Reveals DAMNING Secret
Reveal - To make known (something unknown).
Damning - To bring about the failure of; ruin.
Secret - Kept hidden from knowledge or view; concealed
Three descriptive words in a row that are all false. It was known and advertised on his own website, being nice to kids with your own money or money you raised (even illegal ones) is not damning unless you are a Trump fan, and again it was known and performed in the public eye.
I personally understand the argument that if you put out honey you will attract flies, but the honey is Obama's immigration policies, these kids didn't travel hundreds and thousands of miles for a damn soccer ball or one hot meal.
Sessions pretty plainly listed the baiting here, and it lies entirely in Obama's lap and those congressmen that keep voting to fund him (like recent Omnibus bill that gave 1.6 billion to resettle illegal kids). Note: Cruz voted against it.
I wish FR had a ignore list. I have a feeling you would be posting to your ping list and nobody else within a few weeks.
Sessions great list on Obama's immigration changes (the Honey)

‘Cruz being against the American constitution is all we need.’
“You don’t have that, either.”
Yes we do.... The Corker Bill, subverting the Constitution.
here’s the deal... way before Trump even gotten in I’d written off Beck as a two face snake... total duplicitous sell out not to be trusted
.... so when he went after Trump and was one of the first ones to do it....
I refer to them as the Bang of 5
Brings new meaning to, “You can’t tell the players without a scorecard”.
Thanks. I find the non stop posting of threads literally day AND night to be so odd.
Can’t wait to see this all play out. I pray that decent people continue to rise up and good prevails over deception and deceit.
Hope you are feeling much better :)
I am so tired of the non stop fake cruz cheerleading.
It just doesn’t wash - unless....
I’m just referring to Teddy as the little poodle, he yaps whatever the GOPe tells him to. Little lying fraud!
Cruz's explaination for the Coker Bill. BTW... Jeff Sessions voted for it also. Probable for the exact same reason Cruz reluctantly did.
WASHINGTON, D.C. U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, released the following statement regarding votes on the Iran Nuclear Review Act:
This bill was a missed opportunity. If Congress had acted to defend our constitutional authority if Congress had adopted the Cruz-Toomey amendment then we would be able to stop a bad Iran deal. Instead, the odds are now overwhelming that under these ground rules President Obama will negotiate, and Congress will acquiesce to, a terrible deal that allows Iran to acquire nuclear weapons and will endanger the lives of millions of Americans and our allies.
I voted no on cloture because we should have insisted on amendments to put real teeth in this bill. Ultimately, I voted yes on final passage because it may delay, slightly, President Obamas ability to lift the Iran sanctions and it ensures we will have a Congressional debate on the merits of the Iran deal. I will continue to lead the fight to prevent the Islamic Republic of Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and to protect the national security of America and our allies.
“We are not talking about positions he has taken years ago before he became a Republican. In 2013, conservatives were fighting for dear life to oppose open borders, while Trump was not only supporting the Dream Act, but echoing the liberal politically correct talking points behind it. In August of 2013, he reportedly told a group of illegal aliens, You have convinced me of the need to pass the Dream Act.”

If you like the Dream Act, fine, but please know what the candidate you are supporting stands for.
altura has made a terrible mistake in selling herself to Cruz.
Fixed it for you.
The concern trolls/Teddy supporters spread propaganda and lies. It doesn't wash at all!
Teddy is a trained parrot...he memorizes his speeches and has no vision, nor ideas of his own.
