Controversy over Trump has failed to dent his standing with his core supporters in the Republican primaries, but his image among the rest of the electorate has plunged.
The share of Americans with an unfavorable view of Trump is extraordinary: 68% in the most recent Bloomberg poll, 67% in the CNN/ORC survey, 67% in the ABC/Washington Post poll, 65% from Gallup. The 57% unfavorable rating he received in the most recent CBS/New York Times survey looks mild by comparison.

Yes, I am sure illegal aliens and ardent Hillary supporters have a negative view of Trump. They don't say who was included in the survey, such as US citizens, registered or likely voters or just anybody who picked up the phone.

POLLS WHEN I LIKE THE RESULTS = legitimate, entirely accurate, wonderful, without error
POLLS WHEN I DO NOT LIKE THE RESULTS = garbage, slime, drivel, filled with mistakes & flawed methodology

Where are all these people who hold The Donald to be “unpopular”? From what I can see, he STILL pulls larger and more enthusiastic crowds than ANYBODY else out there.
And consider all the many more millions that are avidly following his TV appearences, of which he is probably getting some 50% more exposure than any other Presidential candidate.
The Donald does not fail to deliver, every time he gets up on a stage. And that is a LOT of times in a week.

I wonder how accurate these polls are when so many people are cell phone only and don’t answer their phone if they don’t know who’s calling. What was the sample size, and what questions were asked?

Which explains why hes getting so many votes. o.O

I think they are scared that Trump would shake things up, as he said, and they don’t want to lose their comfortable little perches.
The rest of us want Trump exactly for that — the GOPe and the ruling class of the country needs shaking up badly.
