Donald Trump Lists Top Three Functions of Government: ‘Security, Security, Security,’
Breitbart ^ | 3/30/16 | Alex Swoyer

GOP frontrunner Donald Trump said the top three functions of the United States government are security, healthcare, and education.

During CNN’s town hall in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Tuesday night, an audience member asked Trump, “What are the top three functions of the United States government?”

“Security for our nation,” Trump responded. “I would also say healthcare… [and] education.”

“The top three are security, security, security,” Trump stressed, saying America needs security “so we can continue to exist as a country.”

“Thousands and thousands of people are infiltrating our country,” the real estate mogul explained. “We don’t know who they are.”

On top of security, Trump added, “Healthcare, education would be probably three that would be top.”

“Our military has been eaten away,” Trump explained.

He also added that “Housing [and] providing great neighborhoods” is a function of the government.

“What are the top three functions of the United States government?”

This is not an honest question?

NO this was not even a trick question..... Trump should have knocked this one out of the park. Well you know he is the best at everything right?

“It was obvious to an 8th grader what he meant.”

And it should have been obvious to him what the answer actually should have been, but he blew it.

Boy this is about the weakest hit piece you could come up with.

You think ISIS gives a sh*t about The Constitution? We’re in a battle for our and our children’s lives.

.. Trump is just another big government guy ..

LOL. Your stupidity so comforting, for a Trump fan like me. Keep the steady stream of ignorance flowing? I'm enjoying it nearly as much as the 'SJW getting pepper sprayed' video.

Trump is just another big government guy who thinks, because he is so much smarter than others before him, he can implement big government better than anybody else. May as well elect Jeb or Kasich.

Most of his supporters don’t mind as long as Trump is behind the helm of a growing federal government.

What they don’t seem to comprehend is the fact that, should he win the election, he won’t be president forever.

“Security for our nation,” Trump responded. “I would also say healthcare… [and] education.”

I would have to disagree with Trump on that, the all powerful tyrannical government needs out of healthcare and education.

BHO’s supporters make the same arguments why he should go around Congress and the Constitution

security, healthcare, and education.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Right on the first.

Wrong on the last two.

Government has the fundamental responsibilities:

Secure the borders.
Maintain honest courts and police to enforce contracts and punish evil.
Put bad people in prison.

The “United STATES”” do have a role in education and health care. NOBODY said exclusively federal government.

IF .. that was the sum total of his thought processes .. I would agree with you ... but he's attempting to 'act like a politician' and include those that want to hear the words 'healthcare' and 'education'

There is nothing in any of his speeches that indicate education (f'rinstance) is a priority except to do away with common core

Wasn’t that long ago it used to be called “THESE United States” not “THE United States” The Former is what the 10th Amendment is about, and Patriots should know this.

Which is why he used the term United States, instead of “State government”.

Just like how I pay my state taxes to the United States, and the troopers on the highway are United States Police Officers.

Governments don’t belong in education or healthcare, PERIOD.

That’s a nice non sequitur, but the fact is he was referring to and supporting socialized medicine. Federalism has nothing to do with it.

More like its you who are adding federal Government exclusively to the question. When it includes the states as its supposed to hes very consistent with his turning health care and education back to the State Governments.
