Donald Trump asks on his Twitter account whether he can press charges against Michelle Fields, as David Martosko of the Daily Mail prints purported quotes from an anonymous Secret Service agent in Trumps security detail claiming Fields was warned she was too close to the billionaire presidential candidate. From the Daily Mail: Republican front-runner Donald Trumps campaign manager Corey Lewandowski has been charged with simple battery for allegedly grabbing a reporter, in a case that may hinge on a Secret Service claim that the journalist first made unwanted physical contact with the billionaire-turned-politician. Looks like she’s trying to pick his pocket.
No, genius, pushy aggressive twinkletoes women should not touch anyone under Secret Service protection.
Delusional wannabe super reporters don't enjoy an exception.
The Donald has been wearing Big Boy pants for a long time and playing in the hardball league too. He’s not cowed by this sort of amateur crapola.
for all the SS knew, it could have been a polonium injector. Or a white powder dispenser (anthrax or similar)
Whats you theory, that this is all part of Trump’s war on woman?
******************************************
I’m calling it BS, plain and simple.
I wouldn’t call it a war on women, that’s a liberal made up talking point.
However, it is clear that Trump has some real issues with women, and that he and his campaign staff are a bunch of thugs.
If he’s going to be called as a witness, he has likely been advised not to talk “on the record” before any trial.
RE “...Trump is a good man to stand by his people and fight for them...”
Loyalty works both ways. They’re good to him, he’s good to them.
It’s an honorable thing... in a time when honor is mocked.
Even FR has some pretty low IQ commenters.
The Secret Service, to them, are required to recognize on sight, every famous and unknown "reporter" in the country, and know they mean no harm. How stupid is that?
You can't fix stupid.
Which is it? Because all of these have been claimed with equal seriousness by the Trump camp:
Nothing happened, she made it up.
I never touched her, it was the secret service, not Cory.
The video shows nothing.
The video shows it wasn’t a big deal.
She touched him first, Cory stopped a suspected assassin.
Does anything matter anymore?
This is a dumb story that could have evaporated with a simple apology by Cory to Michelle, but sorry isn’t in their vocabulary even for the slightest offense even to friendly media. I can’t wait to live through four years of this s#$@show.
If hes going to be called as a witness, he has likely been advised not to talk on the record before any trial.
*******************************
He won’t be called as any witness. In fact, Trump was quoted when this happened as saying that the secret service saw nothing.
He never mention being touched until they brought charges against Corey today.
Face it, he is a liar, and not even a very good one.
>> it is clear that Trump has some real issues with women, and that he and his campaign staff are a bunch of thugs
Trump’s payroll tells a different story than the nonsense you’re peddling.
stand your ground?
Lying “I never touched her” Lewandowski took the law into his own hands, when he should have allowed the secret service to do their jobs, and now he needs to be a big boy and own up to the consequences. Maybe when this is over he can apply for a mall cop job. Oops... most of them would not hire someone who assaults women half his size. Very bad for business.
I can’t believe his boss actually said “Can I press charges” because she brushed up against his elbow. Is he mentally unstable? Does he realize how bad that looks to the rest of America?
Trumps payroll tells a different story than the nonsense youre peddling.

His disapproval rating among women at almost 70%, and the arrest of his campaign manager tells the story perfectly.
Gallup: Enthusiasm among Trump supporters dwarfs that among Cruz supporters 65/39

Aside from JFK, killed at long distance by multiple rifle shots, every actual or attempted presidential assassination involved the perpetrator getting dangerously close to his/her target. Thus, the SS must keep a safe distance between each of its protectees and persons, including members of the press, who are not specifically allowed to approach those protectees. IF the SS fails, then a member of the protectee’s staff needs to move FAST to prevent a possible atrocity.
Reporters can not inject their paws and claws into candidate space when pressers are over and the candidate is well into his exit path and protective service.
Do it, and expect push back.
They can, after a presser, shout questions ‘til the cows come home, but they can not elbow themselves into a candidate’s exit path, not with secret service, private security, and protective staffers.
