Donald Trump asks on his Twitter account whether he can “press charges” against Michelle Fields, as David Martosko of the Daily Mail prints purported quotes from an anonymous Secret Service agent in Trump’s security detail — claiming Fields was warned she was too close to the billionaire presidential candidate. She is lucky the Secret Service didn’t tackle her, which they were WELL within their rights to do.

So if SS were there and monitoring everything, even warning her already, why did he feel the need to grab her or push her out of the way?

Why did’t the secret service stop her?
Lewandowski was only trying to keep Trump from getting girl cooties. This whole thing is one of the stupidest things I’ve ever seen on all parts. This stuff happens in the back seat of a car when you are taking a bunch of adolescents on a long trip.
Just like when Trump stood up for his fellow cadet and friend who was getting physically BULLIEd by the senior STAFF:
Trump used his influence to STOP the bullying.

Sure, An anonymous secret service agent talks to the daily mail, but not the the police when they were investigating bringing charges against Corey.
Same reason they didn’t manage to stop someone from blowing JFK’s head off, or stop that nut from almost shooting For, or stopped Hinkley (sp?) from getting a shot on Reagan.
They are humans, not machines.

An earlier report and discussion today clarified that legal battery is simple touching, no bruises or damage need result, so it qualifies.
The press not often, but very often get pushy and aggressive, and the only way they can get the message is to be countercharged. They do not get special privileges.

The SSS agent has allowed his name to be used. It is out there.
