Ted Cruz dodges question about whether he's 'always been faithful' to his wife as endorser Carly Fiorina leaps in to insist a declaration that he's not an adulterer is a 'dance to Donald trump's tune'
Texas senator could put National Enquirer scandal to rest with a simple statement that he has never strayed in his 14-year marriage
Instead he has batted down the supermarket tabloid's speculative story about five alleged affairs in a more limited fashion
Carly Fiorina leaped in to intercept DailyMail.com's request for a blanket statement of marital fidelity and Cruz ultimately punted on the question
Fiorina pleaded for a return to discussing issues, but lobbed her own accusation at 'serial adulterer' Donald Trump
Cruz also challenged Trump to a one-on-one debate in Wisconsin on Tuesday night: 'Why don't you show up and debate like a man?'
Ted Cruz declined to answer a question on Monday about whether he has ever been unfaithful to his wife Heidi.
'Senator Cruz,' DailyMail.com asked him, 'can you please swat down more definitively this National Enquirer piece by telling us on the record that you've never been unfaithful to your wife?'
The National Enquirer published a story last Wednesday that speculated about five women with whom the Republican presidential candidate was rumored to have had extramarital affairs.
Cruz has batted down the specifics of the story on numerous occasions since it appeared in supermarket checkout lanes.
But instead of making a blanket declaration that he has been faithful during the entirety of his 14-year marriage a move that would effectively end the vicious news cycle Cruz stood silently as campaign surrogate Carly Fiorina leapt in to intercept the question and change the subject.

AMEN!!!
Yes, I re-watched the Fiorina/Cruz video. Appalling. Cruz is a liar.
The comment about Carly refers to her cheating on her first husband will her second and he also was still married at the time also.
See my pot #169
Fair enough. And Trump should answer the same question as should all the candidates.
For an innocent man he sure acts guilty.
He’s not handling it well at all.
Whenever people are involved in perverted sexual lifestyles, they open themselves up to what the Bible calls "unclean spirits." That's probably why these people can't seem to stop--they are often held in bondage by the spirits. It's basically a form of Baal worship, which was so common in the Old Testament.
Of course, if you repent and seek healing from God, you can be delivered. But very few seem to do so.
I want to know how their questions are being asked...
In this case, the questions were asked in person. Carly and Ted were standing in front of a sea of reporters. That’s why Freepers are asking about a clip or video. Lou Dobbs had it on his show today. It was very uncomfortable to watch.
Gee since they share a common history now, maybe Heidi will come out and endorse Hillary.
:)
Because it matters to Republicans.
Because Cruzs Christianity is a cornerstone of his candidacy and the support by most of his adoring fans
Do I have to spell out how often I’ve been told how I’m not a real Christian for supporting Trump
Or I’m not conservative enough for supporting Trump
If Ted Cruz ain’t walking his walk he needs to quit talking crap and his supporters can follow suit
I’m likely one of the two or three most incorrigible posters ever to grace this forum. A risky life
But I’ve been with one woman 20 years and never strayed
But then again I don’t preach about it
And neither does Trump
Thanks for the info.
Of course. He was so honest he wrote about the cheating in his book. But I would imagine if he was asked. He’d be straight up and tell the truth. No dodge, payouts, cover ups and for sure no Carley answering the question for him.
So should Trump's new nickname be "Legion"?
You’ll need to scroll down to the bottom of the article. I should’ve said that at the beginning.
He knows he cannot say that without some woman proving otherwise. If his wife cannot trust him how can America. He needs to leave the race.
Pray America wakes
Cool--got it.
Well, not to excuse Trump's past, but he doesn't seem to be the one acting like an alley cat these days.
