Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump on Sunday slammed rival Ted Cruz for the recent ad produced by an anti-Trump super-PAC featuring a photo of Trump's wife posing nude.
"From what I hear, he and his campaign went out and bought the cover shoot. Melania did a cover story for 'GQ,' a very strong modeling picture. No big deal," Trump said on ABC's "This Week."
"But it was a cover story for 'GQ,' a big magazine. And it was, you know, fine. And from what I hear, somebody bought the rights to it and he was the one or his campaign bought the rights and they gave it to the super PAC."
Trump said Cruz knew about the ad, adding he started the latest fight between the two. Last week, Trump threatened to "spill the beans" on Cruz's wife in response to the ad featuring Melania Trump. He then shared a tweet featuring a photo of his wife next to a photo of Cruz's wife, stating, "A picture is worth a thousands words."
Cruz has denied knowing anything about the ad, and called it deplorable on Sunday.
But Trump said the super PAC that produced the ad is "very friendly to Ted Cruz."
"He knew all about it, 100 percent," he said.
"There's no way in a million years that super PAC did that without his absolute knowledge."
He appeals to he snake handlers and Priesthood rising crowd.
That’s about it.
I believe Melania and Donald are proud of the photos, but the Super PAC used the picture in a way that was intended to be negative. I think it was a positive. :-) Melania is a beautiful woman.
She was a model. It is what she did for a living, and there is nothing illegal about what she did or her line of work.
Half of the women in films pose naked at one time or another, it is part of the business.
PLUS, she hadn’t even met Trump at the time she did the shoot.
I wish he didn’t.

There are legal uses for a copy righted picture online if it falls under the fair use section. However a PAC is a professional operation and there is no fair use for professional use.
So even if you or I used it and commented on it, it would not be legal for the PAC to use it in an ad where money is paid such as advertising dollars and donations.
Thats why they had to buy the license to the copyrighted photos and its the CSI type fingerprint that proves Cruz is lying when he claims he had nothing to with it.

First of all Trump didn’t “put” the pics together, it was a retweet.
Secondly, the media and Teddy are trying to make it about appearances, that Melania is gorgeous and Heidi is hideous True but that was not the obvious intent of the photo.
It was to show an angry, vengeful Heidi vs a peaceful, classy Melania. More to dispel Cruz hit that Melania is not fit to be first lady which inherently implies Heidi is.
Don’t join the bad guys aka left/media. Get the truth out.

Melinia still has some rights attached to the photo, and GQ’s legal dept most definitely provided any info to Trump’s lawyer that he requested.

I didn’t say there was anything illegal about it, but it shouldn’t be surprising that if you pose mostly naked there will be people who question your character ( evangelical voters perhaps) Personally I don’t care about Trump’s wife, she isn’t running for president.
I believe the shoot came after they were married. They were definitely dating in 2000, and the photo came afterward. Melania has posed nude for other photos after they were married. I don't mind. :-)

In 2012 in came out that Romney and his crew used to make fun of women and their appearance, especially if they considered them over weight. It’s just another day in the life of a woman. I voted for him anyway.
