RNC Chair Priebus: ‘Far Too Late’ For Stop-Trump Movement
Breitbart ^ | 20 Mar, 2016 | Pam Key

Posted on 03/20/2016 10:17:35 PM PDT by Red Steel

Sunday on “This Week,” the chairman of the Republican National Committee Reince Priebus said the stop Trump movement among Republicans unhappy with the front-runner are “far too late.” ...

PRIEBUS: “Well, sure it would. Of course it would. But I also think it’s far too late. I think this is — it’s somewhat — some folks find it to be interesting and that’s great. But it isn’t likely and it’s probably too late

They’re all pretending to support Trump. Even Krauthammer. Not buying it. Soros money is backing deadbeats for a reason. They will be going for a Contested Convention. Add the outsider who has worked in DC for 20 years and his wife who worked with Condi Rice on the NAU documents to the mix.
TRUMP! Please unite now. He is our last chance to take back the power from the elitists. Don’t blow this chance, America.

Blowing smoke out of both sides for now.

The ‘story’ of a contested convention has gone from nonexistent to a whisper to an item of interest to a regular topic, and will progress in the direction of a fait accompli.

As the above process of public dissemination continues, Priebus will weigh more to the ‘new reality’ emerging of a contested convention BUT ONLY IF it appears Trump will fall short of 1237.

If either Cruz or Kasich drops out, then Trump wins.

Kasich is mathematically eliminated yet he’s still in. This reveals he’s a tool for GOP establishment players. So Kasich will not drop out as he holds Ohio delegates which will not go to Trump. One can bet the Kasich campaign is funded by PACS that aim to deny Trump.

Cruz will be mathematically eliminated soon. He will most probably stay in because of his campaign debts. He’s trapped by debt. Trump can assume his debt but does not need to at the moment because he made not need any of Cruz’ delegates.

Final moves are coming soon.

Looking back I never really dug into the RNC. I recall I just joined it, and; the next thing I knew there was a battle going on for a number of years after Steele took over. Once Priebus took over is when I slowly noticed a big change. It may be that things have been like this all along? I really believe Priebus has made some deals with shady characters and those who would sell granny for a buck.

Why would anyone trust anything this bought and paid for “next Captain of the Titanic” sycophant has to say on the matter?

I read that as “it’s over” and “please drop your guard.”

I fully expect to get sucker punched.

The far too late was about 3rd party run. Far too early was about who will be nominee.

I hope his telling the truth and not simply trying trick Trump into a false sense of security.

Trump's no fool - they can't lie and get him to relax....only to be betrayed. if they betray him (and us) he will make sure it is out in the open and all the dirt will be visible. Priebus knows this and he isn't quite as stupid as he seems to have thought us before Trump came along.

I’ll agree. He told it like he and others apparently see it.

I'm in an area in OH where the passions run high for Trump among grass-roots Republicans. If the nomination is stolen from Trump, I will not vote for any candidate who endorsed Kasich before the primary. They should've stayed neutral and respect the voters to decide.

It won't take many people thinking as I do to cost Senator Portman his job; it was already thought to be a close race.

Someone needs to tell cruz and Kasich there, because they are only staying in to get a contested convention and do the establishments and Soros bidding now.

Telling the truth? Not likely. Priebus reminds me of the Supreme Chancellor in "Revenge of the Sith"

Mace Windu: [has Palpatine subdued] I'm going to put an end to this, once and for all!
Anakin Skywalker: You can't. He must stand trial.
Mace Windu: He has control of the senate and all the courts. He is too dangerous to be left alive!
Supreme Chancellor: [exhausted and disfigured] But, I'm too weak. Don't kill me.
Anakin Skywalker: That's not the Jedi way. He must live.
[Windu ignores Anakin, still intending to kill Palpatine]
Anakin Skywalker: I need him!
[Windu raises his lightsaber]
Anakin Skywalker: NO!
Supreme Chancellor: [Anakin draws his own lightsaber, cutting off Windu's arm, then Palpatine electrocutes Windu] Power, unlimited power!
Supreme Chancellor: [to Anakin] Once more, the Sith will rule the galaxy. And, we shall have peace.

YEARS now of Exec. abuse and lawbreaking. Yet, what have we heard from the RNC/GOP? *crickets*

Now, a self-funded biz man, beholden to none, can win and upset the apple cart...and these guys are out like flies on stink.

Boy, and people still defend this den of thieves? Something about the ‘company one keeps’

Yep, WAY too late now.

Trump is guaranteed to be the nominee short of a meteor hitting him.

He’s getting ready for the sit down with Trump today where Trump will offer support to GOP candidates who are smart enough to take it. The others - Kirk et al will perish in November after spend the summer campaigning against him. They will wake up after Election Day and realize too late their PC shiite got them nothing but defeat.
