ed Cruz will grab an upset win over Donald Trump in Arizona's presidential primary election on Tuesday, as he's the "only candidate with any kind of organization out here," a close confidant of Sen. John McCain predicts.
"They have him positioned to spring the upset," Kurt Davis, a GOP operative in Arizona, told The Hill. "They just have to deliver."

"A prominent aide to George W. Bush's 2000 campaign could barely contain himself when we asked him to discuss Cruz, who worked in the campaign's policy shop. This person described Cruz as hyper-arrogant and widely despised, and he emphasizedover and overthat the pervasive dislike of Cruz within the Bush ranks had nothing to do with ideology. ..The problem was simple: his personality.""Ted thought he was an expert on everything," says this campaign veteran..."He was a policy guy, but he would push his ideas on campaign strategy. He would send memos on everything to everyone. He would come to meetings where he wasn't invitedand wasn't wanted." In fact, this Bush alum recalls, "the quickest way for a meeting to end would be for Ted to come in. People would want out of that meeting. People wouldn't go to a meeting if they knew he would be there. It was his inability to be part of the team. That's exactly what he was: a big asshole."
- Bob Dole: Cruz would be an ineffective president because "nobody likes him." He explained: "He doesn't have any friends in Congress."
- Sen. John McCain: In January, McCain suggested that Cruz might not be eligible for the presidency because he was born in Canada. "He fucking hates Cruz," a McCain adviser told GQ. "He's just offended by his style." [ed. note: Hey, another McCain adviser!]
- George W. Bush: "I just don't like the guy," the former president said in October. [ed. note: Hey, a former employer of Cruz!]
- Linda: Cruz "has done more to allow ISIL to gain a foothold in Syria than any senator other than Rand Paul."...the party would be better off if it picked "somebody out of the phone book."
- Ted Cruz!: "If you want someone to grab a beer with, I may not be that guy," Cruz said at a Republican debate in October.
We are ashamed that you are too ignorant to know when you been had by the Uniparty. You are still out screaming old crap that nobody cares about. You are so ignorant, you would support Rafael and the Uniparty just to get back at those who have seen the light and want to erase the GOPe from the planet.
Cruz has proven he is a kook. he chooses whackjobs like Beck to support him. How sick.
Still don’t answer the question. Strike three.
Thus why Drumpf called up his business partner, George Soros to gin up the BLM protesters, so Drumpf could play the victim to get sympathy votes from those easily fooled by the ruse. Same play they did in Chicago and South Carolina.
McLettuce is goin down here in Arizona an the bitch knows it
Not that Goldwater would have been all that crazy about Father Ted, but as the state's urbanized it's become less Western and more like other citified states.
I could be totally wrong about whether Ted will win there, but according to the census, Arizona is more urbanized than New York or Illinois.
That doesn't mean it has the politics of New York or Illinois, but the state must have changed a lot since Goldwater was a pup.
You must be one of those loons from Right Scoop. The use of Drumpf is telling.
By the way, that place is full of delusional people living in looneytown.
From my perch, this announcement sounds like some major vote fraud is planned.
So was Florida, dumb dumb. Keep it up.
Yes. Absolutely. Have a nice day.
Yup, just as I have been telling you.
What? What have you been telling me?
I told you that the establishment would be just as happy with Cruz, like any other candidate running against Trump that they’ll get him to play ball.
And Jeb said he wouldn’t win the primaries, but he’d be the nominee. They’re politicians; they lie. That’s why Trump is ahead — he’s not a politician.
First picture - except the middle one is affirmative action.
Now the GOPe Cavalry comes riding to the rescue. Sorry boys. The Indians burned down the fort, called it a day and went home. You’re just a little too late. Jerks.
We can contribute to Kelli Ward to defeat McAinal!
