First on CNN: Ted Cruz summons top fundraisers to Vegas

Ted Cruz is summoning his top fundraisers to an exclusive retreat in Las Vegas next month.

The Texas senator's aides on Friday called their top bundlers to gather between April 8 and 10, according to an invitation obtained by CNN. The candidate and his wife, Heidi, will be on hand.

The retreat for national finance committee members comes at a time when Cruz's fundraising team is taking on more moneymen in order to wage a long, expensive national campaign, in order to prevent Republican front-runner Donald Trump from locking up the delegates needed to win the nomination.

Current fundraisers must collect $100,000 this quarter to attend, but people new to Cruz's team only need $50,000, according to the invitation.

Guess the only “true conservative” since Reagan would have a difficult time addressing the bundlers that support Hitlery since he has sold out to so many anti-conservative bundlers. Sad to see him go for a contested convention against the will of Americans when he must know he won’t be chosen another RINO will. Spite is so ugly!

The GOP elite will donate to him, use him to get a brokered convention, and then stick their man Romney in.

Interesting. Fundraising not to win the primary, but to prevent Trump from winning the primary. Pretty much an open admission Cruz’s campaign is nothing more than a spoiler. This is identical to what Romney said a few days back. They’re not talking about winning, just blocking,

Does this mean that the ‘principled conservative’ will stay in the race even after he’s mathmatically eliminated? Would Mr. Constitution do that just to deny the will of the people and hope that Romney or Kasich gets the nod at a contested election?

Pretty sad and to top it off there will be many Freepers that support such a move.
