Sen. Lindsey Graham will soon raise money for Ted Cruz's presidential campaign, as CNN's Dana Bash just reported.
Which is an amazing turn of events, given the things Graham previously said about Cruz. He has said on multiple occasions that Cruz is would be the death of the Republican Party and is no better than Donald Trump. He has even joked about killing Cruz.
To wit (in reverse chronological order):
Feb. 26: “I was asked the hardest question in my political life: Do you agree with Donald Trump that Ted Cruz is the biggest liar in politics?” he said. “Too close to call.”
Feb. 26 (a joke, but still): “If you killed Ted Cruz on the floor of the Senate, and the trial was in the Senate, nobody would convict you,” Graham said, referencing the Tea Party senator’s unpopular reputation with his colleagues.

Well, the Donald said amazingly bad things about Carson and he’s supporting him so why should this surprise anyone. After all, I’ve been told it’s just politics.

He talks like a politician, acts like a politician and is the LAST guy I would ever vote for - but hey, Cruz is the consummate outsider who cares about ‘us’...bwhwhahaha

And other Senators as well. Not hard to put two and two together. Cruz is totally in the clutches of the tentacles of the GOPe. He has sold out.

My best guess is, Linda wants to frighten people away from Cruz, so he's pretending to be working for his candidacy now -- the real strategy being to drive the rapidly diminishing anti-Trump ciphers into the arms of Kasich. Thanks jimbo123.
In my opinion it is because Ted Cruz is NOT the “outsider” he claims, and actually is an Establishment guy. His goal was to round up the “tea party” grassroots folks to keep them loving him as the “only outsider”, so the plan to keep the “status quo” succeeds. The Establishment GOP and DNC want NOTHING to change. And with Ted they know Hitlery will win. JMHO

We elected Lindsey thinking he was down with our struggle. What we got was a homosexual who just plain sucks. I would vote for a democrat to get him tossed. I am afraid he will be our John McCain.
