As Donald Trumps detractors grow increasingly loud and desperate, they are aiming their ire at a new target:
The media.
Trump must be stopped, they declare, and its the medias mission to halt him in his tracks.
. . . . .
At the heart of these accusations of media failure is the notion that if they were just more hostile, the dumb readers and viewers would see Donald Trump for the clear and present danger that has so unnerved his critics.

Oh, shut up!
Love him or hate him, Trump’s position doesn’t exist in a vacuum. There are millions of voters behind him.
The GOPe and the media still doesn’t get that.
I am for Trump - I voted for him here in Georgia and will in November (or Cruz if that happens).
I don’t know about everyone else, but to me it isn’t the Trump bravado or mystique or luck or whatever they want to call it. It is those who BACK him because he is saying things they think about - wall, illegals, Muslim immigrants, the whole litany of things this GOPe its Congressional Leadership and the whole elitist apparatus have screwed us over on for decades.
We want them GONE, GONE, GONE and Trump just happens to be the battle flag. He is the front line leader lifting his kilt and showing his backside to these elitist schemers and liars.
Just my opinion.
The media has a love/hate relationship with Trump.
The don’t really like his politics all that much (the media is liberal, after all), but he is great for ratings, because they never know what he will say or do.
As long as he brings them ratings, he will still get airtime, as long as people tune in to see him.
If or wehen people stop watching Trump, they will drop his coverage.
If the media and the establishment starting fawning all over Trump, that might stop him. Their rabid opposition to him just cements the idea that he is not one of them - the “enemy of my enemy is my friend”.
As the train rolls along I like Trump more and more.
We know the convention in 76 was brokered they wanted Reagan, but nominated Ford. I did not know this.
How would have history been different if Reagan was nominated, might be good or bad, never mind....
Nother thought Reagan worked in the 80s he and Thatcher would see things differently today and would adjust as needed IMHO. What do you think
wehen = when
I like a man who won't back down from Butch Kelly, someone who derives her power from sitting on a chair purchased for her by a real power like Rupert Murdoch. She's been reduced to fitful sputterings and sardonic laughter about the fact she can't enforce her febrile delusions on him.
Trump has been nuked TWICE by a hysterical media. KKK and Chicago. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life. And he came out smelling like a rose. Ted Cruz will never be able to lay a finger on Trump if the MSM carpet bombing doesn’t have an effect.
The Ministry Of Propaganda has been trying everything to stop Trump.
The Democrats and Republicans have been trying everything to stop Trump.
The Cheap Labor Express is why they want to stop Trump.
The people pipeline is paramount.
Media stop Trump? Heck, Trump can’t even stop Trump!
You noticed that no weapon formed against Donald Trump has prospered! Why would that be?
Isaiah 54
17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,
And their righteousness is from Me, Says the LORD.

Every time Donald Trump says, “I love you!” to a crowd, I am reminded when Jesus said:
John 13
34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.

How, and by what legal, traditional and/or moral edict did it become the media’s job to destroy any presidential candidate? Isn’t their job to REPORT the news, and not to make it?
Trying to twArt the will of the same people/fans they depend on to attract advertisers seems a bit counter productive to me. Advertising is their life’s blood, unless they’re getting gobs of money under the table, whisk is likely.
These shenanigans are already costing FOX thousands, if no millions, of viewers.
Shut up! The people of this country are tired of you MSM clowns dictating who gets to run in an election. I used to watch Fox all the time, but ever since Kelly got her panties in a knot, I’m done with Fox. If she were an adult and not some kind of unprofessional bubble head, she would have dropped this a long time ago. Instead, every time she talks to anyone...gees! even Michael Moore!...she has to bring up how disrespectful Trump was to her. Perhaps you don’t deserve any respect...get over it.
An example of how Trump manipulates the media is the instagram video he put out yesterday. A 15 second video, probably cost $1,000 or less. I’ve seen it on MSNBC, CNN and FOX. Plus, it’s on the Time magazine website, even Think Progress the dem site has it, and I’ve seen it on dozens of other sites as well. It has probably already been seen by millions, and cost him virtually nothing.
We are sick of it. We want middle class main stream traditional values Americans to be celebrated, elevated and protected. We have been in the back of the bus too long.
Speak up America. This is your last chance.
Mark you used to be solid, but you now seem angry, bitter and obsessed. Really get some help
I'm afraid we need to turn off our oracles of conservatism on talk radio, they seem to be agenda driven and completely out of touch.
What they seem incapable of understanding is that their belief in their role as the ones who stop candidates tehy disapprove of is the reason we (1) distrust them on everything, and (2) support Trump more strongly the more the media tries to stop him. Trump could not have done nearly as well without the concerted establishment effort to stop him.
