GOP presidential primary debate in SLC canceled

SALT LAKE CITY The GOP presidential primary debate scheduled for Monday has been canceled, a representative for the Salt Palace Convention Center confirmed Wednesday.
The debate was canceled following Donald Trumps announcement that he wouldnt be attending and a subsequent announcement from the campaign strategist for Gov. John Kasich that he wouldnt attend without Trump.

Objectively speaking, it was the only move Kasich could make. The debate without Trump at this point would have been labeled as the "Also Ran" debate.
What else could he do?

I agree. The debates became spectacles, the audience stacked with rowdy liberals, the moderators too often asking ridiculous questions. Didn’t one debate feature video clips?
