But Garland has a long record, and, among other things, it leads to the conclusion that he would vote to reverse one of Justice Scalias most important opinions, D.C. vs. Heller, which affirmed that the Second Amendment confers an individual right to keep and bear arms.

“He is married to Lynn Rosenmann, an engineer whom he met in Boston while she was getting a masters degree in physics at MIT. Rosenmanns grandfather springs from Democratic party royalty, having advised Presidents Franklin Roosevelt and Harry Truman. The Garlands have two daughters.”
“If confirmed, Garland would be the third Jewish justice, meaning that with six Catholics also serving, the Supreme Court for the first time would have no Protestant justices.”

The following has been true for a long time, proceeding Obama:
“the Supreme Court for the first time would have no Protestant justices”

Yeah, we can put our heads in the sand. It’s an election year... we’ll wait til we’ve got a new President.

I’m for that.
That is not putting your head in the sand, it is using your head.
My statement applied to being vigil about the “nominee”. And not immediately discounting concerns.
National Review was not always associated with Neo Cons. (I have little use for them either)

Worst case scenario is it ends with Americans killing Americans in the streets to decide whether the Left extinguishes the last flickering embers of the Founders’ legacy forever.

You don't need your own gunpowder to fight them. There are myriad ways to get theirs and use it against them. Guerrila warfare tactics are not just for third world insurgents.

Article is inaccurate. The Supreme Court has had no Protestant justices since John Paul Stevens retired. Garrick would be the fourth Jewish justice on the current court. The three currently serving are Breyer, Ginsberg, and Kagan.

Yes, I knew it was wrong. But did not know the number of Jewish Justices. I thought almost all were Catholic.
