After Trump’s Big Night John Boehner Endorses Paul Ryan for President

Former Speaker John Boehner endorsed Paul Ryan for president today – the day after Donald Trump won 4 of 5 states in Super Tuesday 2.0.

The elites don’t give a damn about the Republican base and this is more proof.
The Politico reported:

Former Speaker John Boehner said Paul Ryan should be the Republican nominee for president if the party fails to choose a candidate on the first ballot.

“If we don’t have a nominee who can win on the first ballot, I’m for none of the above,” Boehner said at the Futures Industry Association conference here. “They all had a chance to win. None of them won. So I’m for none of the above. I’m for Paul Ryan to be our nominee.”

Wading into the GOP nominating battle for the first time since leaving office last fall, Boehner said that “anybody can be nominated” at the convention in Cleveland this summer.

Boehner, who now splits his time between Florida, Ohio and D.C., had long whispered to friends that he believes Ryan could be the party’s political savior if it came to that.
But Boehner never said it publicly until now.

Why can’t he just leap into a swimming pool filled with orange spray-on tan and drown himself?

With the Bushiites getting their money bag guys alongside Cruz, he is in a vulnerable position when and if they need to pull the strings for leverage at the convention. Despite some outward evidence to the contrary I actually think his inclinations are contrary to GOPe hegemony. This may all be moot when the Bushiite cabal starts to pull at the monebags.

Now for the bad news ...

The hijacking and shenanigans happen well before the national convention. Most of it takes places at local precinct, district, senatorial, & state party caucuses. That’s where the campaigns and party insiders get involved to challenge delegate credentials, etc. essentially to have certain delegates removed and their desired delegates elected/seated.

It’s how Obama stole the Texas Democrat delegates from Hillary in 2008 even though she won the primary vote.

Y’all are worrying about what “they” might try right in front of you when what you should be worried about is what they’re doing right now behind your back at local and state caucuses.

How TEXAS went Cruz I’m sure I don’t know, but nevertheless I reside in a heavily conservative and CRUZ berserker district.

No citizen serving as a delegate has any clue how to even find “the rules”, and when you dig around they may or may not even apply to your neighborhood, etc.

The rubes kept ignorant is the plan and it has always worked, but it works only for the Estab’ and serves their purposes.

Better to come up with answers, resolutions, and broadly available tutorials rather than rest in the case we are all uninformed, ill informed, and outsiders to the shenanigans.

We ARE outsiders. NO ONE is throwing us a rope line.

WE have let too much go for too many decades to let it go this year.

Thanks, Buckeye.
