They wouldn’t have had the Marianas caucus if they knew Trump would take all nine delegate: it wasn’t supposed to happen.

Exit poll showed 55% of GOP voters angry at Washington. Relax!

Its looks very good for Trump with that number and we’ve seen it before in MS & MI.

No great love for the establishment among Buckeyes.

What system could possibly be set up to prevent our candidates from being bought like cattle, and selling us out because they feel obliged to?

That is an excellent question. We got in this mess because worst part of human nature. Slowly, both ideological “teams” came together in a hidden royals vs peasants situation, and very few of us realized it. Anyone running either does need independent means or must be “bought” by special interests. This keeps the cabal alive.

The free speech laws have given us the horrible length of time of candidacies as well as the tradition of buying expensive TV ads. Trump may have done us a huge favor there, showing us how to run on the cheap by creating press. Maybe we can make a “crowded theater” infringement on free speech by keeping presidential campaign season to a limit, but maybe not: people who plan to run can still make speeches, etc.

It is very hard to figure out how to make presidential campaigns not become purchases.

Let’s see he’ll have another press conference at Marg Largo tonight.

Trump is a master at getting the media hooked.

Well done, that is a shame. I know he used to be germ phobic, maybe he once got sick from rare meat? Weird. I know I order burgers well done because hamburger meat needs to be brown to be safe, but not enclosed muscle meat (steak) that never saw the outside world or felt a kitchen worker’s germy hand or sneeze. Medium rare, please.... And I like those skinny fries the Trumps are noshing there.

I’m a fan of a meat and potatoes guy.

Vegan is so politically correct.

[Anyway, let’s see what Trump is having for dinner tonight.]

Looks like a typical school lunch for Sasha & Malia Obama.

Those “useless hypothetical election polls” are the best evidence we have at this point in time and are at least more predictive then the hyped anecdotal “evidence” and over emotional conjecture Trump supporters put so much faith in.

These polls are no more evidence than throwing darts at a dartboard would be. As far as "over emotional". Nonsense. Just an objective view derived from reason and observation (granted, potentially flawed observation, but objective and honest). If I came to different conclusions, I would say different things. The bottom line is that we have no hard evidence at this point of anything to do with the general election (nor do we ever). What we do have is the ability to observe, and come to rational conclusions.

Your vapid statement was the epitome of an emotional response. The equivalent of a school-yard "so are you". You hear an opinion about a candidate, an opinion you (emotionally) don't like, so you retort with "yeah, well it applies to x as well." That kind of emotional, vapid, response, using non-evidence as evidence, is a perfect example of "willful blindness" (a refusal to take an honest view of what is occurring"), and conclusion that is "wrong." I can't help you any more than that. Coming to conclusions in the way that you did, well, it will only work out by chance.

So you are quite wrong. It is exactly the opposite.

Many (former) Cruz supporters who heard and read Cruz's works for themselves are in disagreement with you.

Cruz exposed himself as a naked opportunist, rebuked organized criminal thugs only in passing, and proceeded to smear Trump as the cause.

Cruz showed a total lack of leadership, lost 300,000 Twitter followers virtually overnight, and he also lost the votes of many of his own supporters.

Ted Cruz damaged himself last Friday. He's a lawyer who knows how to use words precisely, and it's clear what he was trying to do.

If Ted Cruz really was a leader, he would have led the entire GOP field in forcefully and passionately repudiating the thugs who engaged in a criminal conspiracy to infringe on the Right of the People to Peaceably Assemble. He woiuld have showed solidarity with a frontrunner whose People were attacked by the intolerant Left.

If Cruz wins the nomination, and possibly before, those same orchestrated thugs are going to show up at some of his rallies. You can count on it.

When that happens, will it be because of Cruz's violent rhetoric? Of course not, because that's not the cause. These criminals want to suppress the democratic process, and Ted Cruz is helping to encourage them to do so.

Win or lose, the chickens are really going to come home to roost for Ted Cruz for his putting raw political opportunism ahead of being a true statesman. There's simply no denying it.

some folks as they get older have a harder time digesting stuff that is more on the rare side. I know many folks who have moved to med well once they got older. It could be as simple as that.

Wow. Those are really interesting numbers on the Dems and Indies voting in the GOP Primary.

The upside: A good sign for Trump in the General Election.
The downside: We are letting the Dems choose our candidates.

And ... Apparently Trump Supporters have more in common with the Dems than they would like to admit.

Then, the question becomes: are they Trump supporters, or Kasich supporters.

For the blue-collar Dems switching to Republican -- they would probably be voting their pocketbook, i.e. JOBS, and Kasich is pro-open-borders, amnesty, outsourcing, off-shoring like the rest of the GOP-e.

Only Trump is pro-American, pro-jobs, MAGA.

Kasich just +3 with Independents in OH
Trump leads with blue collar at 47%
Kasich takes 54% of late deciders, to 28% for Trump.
