Well, so much for lunch break, need to get back to work but really just want to watch the numbers come in. Especially Florida, but Ohio and Illinois, too. I will sneak home early just to watch, and PRAY, for Trump!
Trump 2016! Let’s get the General going NOW as a unified force that will be unstoppable and the American worker will lead the way to a Trump victory in 2016!
And that reflects poorly on Trump and his judgment.
We are at War people! Fight like it and Vote!
Cruz will pay a price today for siding with the Chicago thugs.
oh fer cryin’ out loud
Nice reasoned reply.
Truth sounds like hate to those who hate truth.
“Cruz will pay a price today for siding with the Chicago thugs.”
Put down the Kool-Aid, it’s affecting your ability to hear the truth.
We get that, and reduce the corporate tax rate to 15%, this economy would explode. Well, gradually anyway :)
FYI, the Feds have caused skyrocketing costs of doing business here and thats why business is fleeing. Some good starting places to fix our GDP problem are:
1) lower taxes to individuals and eliminate the phony business tax which is simply hidden tax on the consumer in the form of higher prices.
2) nuke unconstitutional federal minimum wage - artificially high labor costs are killer of jobs and send companies elsewhere
3) kill the sheer tonnage of dead-end, useless, and costly regulations and nuke the unconstitutional Administrative State along with it.
4) repeal unconstitutional federal protection of unions a major reason for making Detroit a ghost town.
Tariffs on the other hand are an exercise in futility and do nothing to address these very real causes of the migration of business and industry and the flattening of our GDP.
I have openly admitted I could live with Cruz, but I don’t see him as any change agent as he is funded by the same folks the rest are... I have also thought from day one he has huge general elections issues.
I have never thought Cruz a bad man, or directed hatred toward him or his supporters.... That ended when he blamed Trump for the unrest in Chicago... since then the rhetoric coming out of Cruz’s mouth might as well be a commies on that topic.... I personally am done with Cruz, if he thinks when organized thugs show up with the stated intent to cause mischief that its the other persons fault when they do, you are not remotely conservative... the stuff coming out of his mouth on this topic, he might as well be Bernie or any other leftist.
The economic upside is so huge. But nobody even remembers a partially free market. Nobody is really talking it up.
GDP growth of 7% would totally floor everyone.
Bongo Bernie!
Exactly right. It’s now “We the People” vs. “The Ruling Class”. Google Angelo Codevilla for his excellent essay that turned into a book several years ago. He’s the first one to clearly lay out what we all feel - as George Wallace put it back in the 60s “there ain’t a dimes’ worth of difference between the Republican and Democrat party”.
I am the guy who got him off the ground. Me and a few thousand other guys. Back in March when Cruz was NOBODY, WE did that. Cruz owes US.
May you savor the coming historic Trump victory in FLA tonight.
“when he blamed Trump for the unrest in Chicago”
That was a mistake. Cruz is not mistake-free. He had to correct himself on two bits of legislation back in the Fall. Fair enough. He should correct himself on Chicago.
Corporate tax is another government mirage. As I explained, it is simply a higher individual tax on you through forced higher costs and prices. The taxes you and I pay are individual taxes PLUS corporate taxes PLUS inflation cause government’s printing money for government spending.
An essay posted the other day called “The Hollow Man” really sums up Cruz accurately I think:
“For Ted Cruz, the central flaw is a malignant narcissism that erupts into condescension, intellectual arrogance, and a sense of inevitability. He is no longer carrying the message; he is the message. That attitude, of course, leads to the message getting lost, as principle after principle is sacrificed to get the man into office, because that is all that matters.”
