Donald Trump was forced to cancel a Friday campaign rally scheduled in Chicago, ahead of Illinois’ primary on Tuesday, as thousands of protesters marched outside the planned venue for the rally, raising the threat of possible violence.

I was at this freak show the last time it played town from 1968-1974.
It ends differently this time around.
Perhaps a history question here....but from the 1968 riots...what exactly came out of these? I know the outcome of the Detroit riots, the LA riots, the Kent State riots, the White Night riots in San Fran, and even the Miami riots of 1980.
But was there anything really gained or achieved after the Chicago riots in 68?

Yep. Remember the “law and order” slogan that Nixon used back then?

The election of Richard Nixon, Spiro Agnew his VP, Disco, Polyester, Watergate, and the clown-show trial of the Chicago Seven were the notable events. You decide if any of them can be considered gains or achievements.
Richard Nixon for one thing. It was also the turning point when the left started it's takeover of the Democrat party.
We need to bring back the movie “Z”.
Well it did get the “silent majority” up from out of its sleep the last time, that is why Nixon won in 1968.
THis was only the beginning.
October is going to be August 1968 all over again.
They are going to be out there raising hell everywhere. It will continue after the election after Trump wins and they are going to have to be put down. These people do not believe in democracy. They only believe in democracy when the election goes their way, when it doesn’t, they resort to violence.
This is why Trump should have gone to the “burbs” and stayed away from Chicagoland.
Everybody and their brother, since 1945, has been claiming some epic take-over of the Democratic Party. There’s probably fifty different groups declaring their ownership and command of the Democratic Party.
If the gameplan for the Republican Convention is some BLM maneuver....at least a quarter of the Democratic Party will vacate permanently and become firmly attached to Trump.
I hope the events of last night lead to a land slide win for Trump!
Pretty much the folks rioting handed Trump the election.
