As you probably know, patriots took over the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in an attempt to keep a father and son pair of Oregon Ranchers, Dwight Lincoln Hammond, Jr., 73, and his son, Steven Dwight Hammond, 46, from serving five year prison sentences for setting fire to federal land. The protest ended up with one American citizen being murdered by the government and several others being arrested.
The protest was peaceful on the part of the citizens. Not so much on the part of the government. That's why we have the 2nd Amendment.
While Obama has illegally ordered the release of drug dealers, Muslim terrorists and illegal aliens from prison, when it comes to white patriots the regime is determined to see to it that they go to prison- for a LONG time. Yeah, that's who he is- a filthy scumbag.
The Oregon militia members could be facing DECADES in prison under a set of new criminal charges that Obama demanded including additional firearm offenses, theft of public property and damaging a Native American archaeological site, according to The Guardian.
Federal prosecutors in Portland have greatly expanded their case against brothers Ammon and Ryan Bundy and more than a dozen defendants who participated in the armed takeover of the Malheur national wildlife refuge in the high-profile standoff that began 2 January and dragged on for 41 days in rural Oregon.
Last month, after the final four occupiers surrendered to the FBI, officials arrested and charged a total of 25 people for their roles in the armed anti-government demonstration on public lands controlled by the federal government.
The rightwing activists, who traveled from across the U.S. to protest the government's land-use restrictions in the west, are all accused of using "force, intimidation and threats" to conspire against and impede government officials - a federal felony offense that carries a maximum sentence of six years in prison.
But on Wednesday, prosecutors unveiled a slew of new charges against 19 of the 25 defendants in the case - an indication that the federal government plans to aggressively target the protesters, some of whom could face more than 20 years in prison if convicted of all the offenses.
In a newly unsealed grand jury indictment, 19 of them are now also charged with possessing firearms and dangerous weapons in federal facilities - an offense that could carry up to five years in prison.
Nine of those defendants are also facing new charges of using and carrying a firearm in relation to a violent crime – an offense that mandates a minimum sentence of five years. That charge carries a similar mandatory minimum as the offense that led to the prosecution and imprisonment of two Oregon ranchers whose case inspired the Malheur standoff.
Violent crime? The only violent crime is when they murdered LaVoy Finicum. He was ambushed and "murdered" execution-style.
Liberals celebrated the murder. They won't be celebrating when they find themselves in FEMA camps with micro=chips implanted into their useless bodies.
Okay, that may sound a tad far fetched but there is no doubt that the government, especially under the Obama regime is growing increasingly dangerous and have a mission to silence us. They want to control us- what we eat. What we watch on TV. Who we worship- GOD. What flag we fly and where we fly it. The type of firearms and ammo we buy. The list goes on and on and on.
Look, these protesters are peace loving Americans who took a stand against a tyrannical government- plain and simple. The only bloodshed came as a result of over zealous government murderers.
Please pray for these patriots. They are getting screwed by the very government that we PAY for.

You'd probably have to get the ear of one of Trump's trusted advisors, and have them explain the situation first: but I bet he'd actually listen, once that happened.

The video is NOT properly syncronized. The position of Finnicum’s body when the shots are fired does NOT match the coroner’s report. The shot’s were fired earlier than the video indicates.

Defense lawyers say they are being sandbagged on discovery when it comes to evidence that was collected in the case.
Sounds like a dirty business of exaggerated charges and government abuse of power and lying and hiding of evidence.
It was a protest where some occupancy law and a refusal to follow the instructions of law enforcement. They had guns but didn’t shoot anyone. The only fatally was the likely murder of a protest spokesman. They get life.
BLM protest leaders were invited to the White House after multi city riots which destroyed many millions of dollars of property, ruined the businesses of their neighbors and which has resulted in the murders and targeting of police and a skyrocketing increase in black on black murders.
No justice no peace should be our battle cry.

You are WAY out of your league here. The BLM doesn't own land; it manages it as a Federal agency. I've written three books on environmental policy and political corruption in government land management. So give it a rest and admit you blew it. OK? You're dead wrong here.
Trump is unlikely to do diddly about the EPA because he doesn't understand the technical, economic, and legal issues AT ALL. Nor is he predisposed toward limited Constitutional government.

It's worse than that: not only do I not know a lot about the issues: it was a desultory effort, since I don't care passionately about this issue. I think it sucked that Clinton signed the EO he did which prevented extraction of coal from (IIRC) lands in Utah, allowing that Indonesian family to clean up. I think it sucks that whoever it is, got their green panties in a wad to refuse to allow controlled burns, preferring to allow nature to run its course, upon which Yellowstone and environs had catastrophic forest fires. I vaguely get the impression, that the Feds are trying to keep people from grazing cattle on otherwise barren Federal Land, just so they can get their rocks off: similar to the fuss over drilling in ANWR which is so desolate that even the mosquitos in Alaska consider it to be out of tha way.
That being said:
If the government is being unreasonable,and the courts are backing them up, what is the best approach for an aggrieved rancher / water user to do?
And is there any truth to the rumors that the govt. wants the people off the land so the govt. can make good on selling mineral rights to the Russians (esp. Uranium) pursuant to an agreement made by Hillary? (I've seen rumors of such elsewhere on FR.)
And the govt. ending up shooting people over occupying what appeared to be a "closed for the season" ranger station, looked like "the usual bureaucratic overreach" seen from MOVE getting burned down in Philadelphia, to Waco and the Branch Davidians, to the motorcycle gangs in Texas where a bunch of people got shot and those who didn't get shot, got indicted.
Trump might not cavil over ownership of the land...and I agree his broad brush big mouth simplistic take on it doesn't look encouraging: but what I've seen of him is that he often walks back his initial remarks, after he's taken the time to read up on the issues. As a New York City Developer, I bet he hasn't thought about rural land issues much. But I bet he'd side with citizens over the bureaucracy, when it is clear the bureaucracy is just yanking people around for the fun of it.
