AND NOW... amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke... it is time for... that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-The-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he's not retiring until every American agrees with him - do NOT doubt him - with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that's Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back - just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America's anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A real man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander-in-Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do - host. Get ready to what you were born to do - listen. And post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread.

Who made him arbiter of anything? He used to be a former speech writer for Mondale (D).

Honestly not only do I hope the GOPe is forever crushed, I hope that many of the so called ‘conservatives’ in the media are swept out with them.

Even if he does ok in a mountain state-—Montana or Utah or even Arizona-—the big delegates are in IL, PA, OH, FL, NC, CT, MO and CA.

Don’t see him winning any of those.

Since 1960, only twice has a sitting President attended a former first lady's funeral. JFK did in '62 for Eleanor Roosevelt. Clinton did for Jackie O in the 90's.

Among those not attending funerals, President Clinton did not attend Pat Nixon’s funeral in 1993, President Bush (W) did not attend Lady Bird Johnson’s funeral in 2007, Jimmy Carter didn’t attend Mamie Eisenhower’s funeral in 1979 and Ronald Reagan did not attend Bess Truman’s funeral in 1982 This is the 2nd first lady that President Obama will not attend as he did not attend Betty Ford’s funeral in 2011, but Michelle did attend that one as she will Mrs. Reagan's.

Sure. Always a chance, but he has trailed.

BTW, Rush talking about how the GOPe just “don’t get it” despite the fact he has “schooled” them for five months. I have too. They just don’t want to understand, esp. the NRO people.

Well, yes, in part he can be blamed on Bush.

Rove admitted it: they didn’t fight back for seven years. This was not only completely destructive to Bush, but to the whole Republican brand. He utterly destroyed the conservative brand, which is why it’s not hard for so many people to not get worked up about “conservatism” anymore. What did it get us?

Yes. Trump gained 6% of what he needs last night, and Cruz only 5%, unlike Saturday where Cruz actually gained ground.

You people are all too stupid to know Cruz is the best candidate. How dare you go against the Sanhedrin.

Laura is rocking it and making fun of Rove and the establishment who are going against the will of the people. She had a great line about Krystal not wondering why Trump is winning that he only needs to be stopped. The Plutocrats, too funny.

Pray America wakes

I think the point isn’t that Cruz can win outright, rather it is that Cruz (or a combination of all three opponents) can deny a majority to Trump, throwing the nomination open to the loser.

Cruz can’t go forward without money, lots of it. So he’s sold out to the GOP. He was already partly in that camp with H1b visas, TPA, the Corker amendment, etc. but now they own him.

Sad but true.

I voted today in Western NC. Polling place was busy. Big Cruz signs, no Trump signs to be seen.

The Koch brothers, who are generally regarded as the quintessential donors for Republican candidates, have said they have “no plans to get involved in the primary.” It’s worth noting, however, that the American Future Fund – a group that’s been previously linked to organizations close to the Kochs – spent $1.75 million last week alone on anti-Trump ads and activities, according to the center. The organization has also spent about $1.5 million this cycle in opposition to Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, though no funds have gone to support or oppose Florida Sen. Marco Rubio.
