LOS ANGELES -- A trio of former first ladies, including Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton, and current first lady Michelle Obama will be among those attending Friday's funeral service for Nancy Reagan at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum...
Former President George W. Bush and his wife, Laura, are also expected to attend, along with former first lady Rosalynn Carter, according to officials at the Reagan Library.
Former President Lyndon Johnson's daughters Luci and Lynda are expected to attend, along with Tricia Nixon Cox, a daughter of President Richard Nixon.
The White House announced Monday that Michelle Obama will be in attendance. President Barack Obama is not expected to accompany his wife...

I believe Reagan’s funeral was invitation only. Nancy’s is likely the same.
Look, I find this administration abhorrent, but c’mon....his security detail would make a real mess...and furthermore....the “First Lady” attending is enough, imho. Frankly, I’m glad he won’t be there.

The Bushes always had class.
Lady Bird Johnson died during George W. Bush’s presidency. He did not attend the funeral.
Obama would also, by his very presences hog the attention at the service. It is actually proper for him to not go. They can’t send Biden because he’d find a 14 year-old girl to molest. So Michelle makes sense.
The one that I feel is inappropriate is Hillary. It becomes a defacto campaign stop.
