“Good for Cruz. Shows he can work with the other factions of the party.”

The “deal maker” would have no room for for anyone whose family had disagreed with him, and if and when he did all the “deal makers” minions would applaud and say how bold, smart, great, terrific and amazing that the Donald could snap up a financial wizard like that.

It changes nothing. Whichever candidate wins the primary will have to bring all the factions together in the general. Good for Cruz. He is the consensus candidate.

It’s another thing to be explained away.

It “could” mean little or nothing. But it’s just like a politician does not want to be caught in bed with a live boy or a dead girl.

There’s always a nice way to spin it... but this can be done for Mr. Trump too. To deny spinnability for one but not the other is inconsistent.

Are you jealous? The Bush family had two Republican Presidents and Gov. of Florida. They have lots of influence. Good for Cruz for winning Neil’s support.

Neil Bush's support? That's like one step up from Bernie Madoff.

It’s good to see Ted “Never surrender” Cruz finally reach out to the open border wing of the party and make peace with them. /src

That must be why Cruz has won more state than Trump. Oh wait.

Well, using the same metrics, that puts Trump squarely in the Pelosi/Reid dynasty.

No surprise, I believe Mr. Cruz and his wife both previously worked for the Bush dynasty.

I wonder which dynasty you are fond of?

We will hear the meme from the Uniparty Bots that once Trump is out, they will go after Cruz.

This is getting very old. Just look at the attacks on Trump here today. Happens every primary. The entire comment forum page is filled with innuendo, false stories, blog sources and other narrative producing focus group posts. These continue to push all other news off of the page and sidebars.

Cruz is no conservative. He wraps himself in priestly conservative clothes while supported by both the political and media elite.

What a surprise. Cruz = Bush. Anyone who expects different is wilfully blind.

Interesting backgrounder info.

Well, I think the Trump campaign just picked up a major talking point for this week’s debate.

Well of course he did, next comes the bush endorsement. But cruz is no establishment man, no he just trades for their money.

Yes, Bush will support Cruz if necessary and so will McConnell and Ryan.
Cruz never really attacked Bush. Cruz worked for W and his wife works for Goldman-Sachs. Cruz is a quiet insider or a tool. Neither is good.

A lot of Cruzers are good, decent people who didn’t see the light until they were too emotionally and financially involved to see anything. Perhaps we should give them a 48 hour grace period while they’re deprogrammed and leave the dark side.

This is one of my favorites from your link:
