Mitt Romney won’t rule out accepting GOP nomination at contested convention
Washington Times ^ | 3/6/2016 | S.A. Miller

Mitt Romney, the 2012 Republican presidential nominee, refused Sunday to rule out becoming the nominee again this year at a brokered convention, though he insisted he couldn’t imagine that happening.

“I don’t think anyone in our party should say, ‘Oh no, even if the people of the party wanted me to be president, I would say no to it.’ No one is going to say that,” Mr. Romney said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

Trump should activate a nuclear option if the GOPee does something this stupid.

He could hold rallies and ask his supporters to do the following if a stunt like this is tried... vote for him as a write-in but don’t vote for any other republican on the ballot. Ditto if they run some asshole on a 3rd party ticket.

The senators and representatives up for election will ensure the nonsense stops!

They may not care if Hillary is elected but they damn sure care if they lose their seats.

Trump signed an agreement and has stuck to it, the GOPee is without honor and has breached every promise they made in writing or implied.

If Trump pulled out such a nuclear option the GOPee would back down. They want to remain at the trough, they don’t want to be sent home as losers.

Throwing one election wasn’t enough for him.

This would make Romney a THREE time loser. Pathetic. What a vain and unpatriotic buffoon.

Trump is the only way out of this.

Exactly!!

With the other candidates cowardly bowing to Romney's plan to deny Trump the nomination they have thrown their lot in with Romney.

But he also has his election machinery from 2012 and it wouldn’t be hard for him to put it back in place. I’m willing to be that he tries to pull this off.

Cruz is an easy target for Hillary. Trump they fear. Unfortunately too many are purists to see that.

This is exactly the reason the establishment will use to deny Cruz the top of the ticket at a brokered convention. No worries for Cruz. He’ll be happy with the VP slot and knocking out Trump. It’s clear Cruz took all the Canadian stuff real personal. That relationship won’t be patched up.

“The GOPe wants Hillary to win.”

It’s hard to believe, but after seeing everything that is going on, this is indeed the only logical explanation.

Hillary gives the GOP TPP, Amnesty and takes SCOTUS off their plate. What’s not to like from a GOP perspective there? And the GOP love punting on big issues. I’m sure a lot of them prefer a liberal SCOTUS that takes the pressure off them in Congress to do stuff.

LISTEN UP VOTERS....

These professional politicians have had their BACK ROOM MEETINGS and they know exactly just what they plan to do...

AND WE VOTERS NEED TO SEND THEM A MESSAGE...
SHOVE YOUR CHOICE TO WHERE THE SUN DOESN'T SHINE...
WE WILL CHOSE WHO WE WANT FOR THE 45TH PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES AND HIS OR HER VICE PRESIDENT...

NOT A PROFESSIONAL POLITICAL CROOK MAKING THAT CHOICE FOR US...

THE SLEEPING LION IS A WAKE AND WE PLAN TO ROAR SO LOUD Y'ALL WILL NEED COCHLEAR IMPLANTS...

Wasn’t that OPENING STATEMENT OF THE JUDGE fantastic...

She really has the FIRE IN HER BELLY and she took it to Romney with speed and fire..

She would really turn this Nation on its heals to be the VP to Donald J. Trump...and in eight years she could be the FIRST WOMAN PRESIDENT...

LET’S ROLL VOTERS AND GET THIS DONE...WE CHOSE NOT THE ESTABLISHMENT...

Trump doesn’t even need to do that. He can just play it cool as a cucumber and say he is sticking to his pledge BUT if his supporters wish to follow the ROMNEY RULE and write him in he will fully understand that. Wink, wink.

The kenyan won Florida by 80,000 votes in 2012. Any hint from Trump that the GOP is stealing the primaries will sink them in November and give us POTUS Hildabeast. Maybe that’s what they want. LOL.

This is why the establishment is working and using Ted.
They need him to take delegates enough to have their convention and then they will stab him in the back

Romney & Ryan already filed papers with the FEC to run for President & VP of the USA in this election cycle.

They did so on Jan 30, 2016—35 days ago.

Sneaky devils, eh?? Did they openly tell us??? HELL NO!!

They certainly have kept this a secret, tho, while they stir up all kinds of trouble for the candidates who have been spending time& money for the last 10 months all across the USA. These 2 think they can come riding in like a knight on a white horse & we will all bow & scrape to them???? Not ME!! NOT NOW! NOT EVER ! !!

They also filed papers for a funding group called ROMNEY VICTORY, INC. They are being dirty scoundrels, suddenly popping up with all the vitriol.

Millions of voters have already shown who they want. I personally changed a meeting so I could go & do the Nevada caucus on Feb 23. Was there for over 2 hours & would have stayed for 4 if necessary.

We sure as hell don’t want a man who never attacked Obama in 2012 as hard as he is attacking Trump now. Nor do I personally need a future/past President candidate who insults me openly on TV for a continuing rant. I have survived this long-—76 years—without a single bit of help from Mittens, and I don’t need him now. I own all of my holdings, and have a net worth over $400,000 even in a bad real estate market. He never paid a single bill for me or gave me any financial advice.

Funny-—Romney was born with a silver spoon in his mouth & his largest financial windfalls came from Bain Capital. Bain is a company that is a fancy scavenger——they buy up companies who are having trouble/ lost the founder/market changed/unions demanded too much—whatever. The company IS in trouble-—Here comes little Willard Romney & his cohorts & they buy up the company assets for pennies on the dollar. Kill off the stockholders at pennies on the dollar & then break up & sell the assets of the company at a nice profit.

The parts being worth more than the whole-—Romney lines his pockets. Didn’t try to turn the companies around -—broke them up & sold them piecemeal. Around N Nevada, we liken that kind of behavior to being a VULTURE-—picking at someone else’s bones.

NOW-—NOW I am stupid? NOW I am a ‘sucker”?? KMA.

You are a smarmy piece of work, Romney. You are a backstabber of the first degree.

I have been a registered Republican for over 55 years. I will never vote for you-—not even for local dog catcher.

The filing can be seen at

Errrr, don’t know about that. We’ve spent many years trying to rebuild in the south. We don’t need any cities burned and farms destroyed, thanks.

I didn’t vote for Romney in 2012.

I can't stand the guy, and I certainly didn't vote for him in the '12 primaries. But staying home in the general only helps elect to the Presidency those who aim to destroy our country. ...as we've seen.

I think you are on to something there. A list of two dozen vulnerable seats in the states where Trump has done best would be a good "nuclear option". The ultimate force in action would be our vote, and it would be a way of showing our protest to what in the world is going on right now.

Shoot, we may could vote Paul Ryan out if the demographics are good. I'll bet almost anything John McCain can be defeated in Arizona with a "nuclear option".
